L'appel du Vide was my first ever published book and I am editing this A/N right now after almost a year of publishing it. The reason why I am doing so is because, within less than a year so much has changed.
I have turned into a different person and expanded my horizons in terms of writing.

(About the title): L'appel du Vide, literally "the call of the void" is a French phrase used to refer to intellectual thoughts, or the urge to engage in destructive behaviours during everyday life. Examples include thinking about swerving into the opposite lane while driving, or feeling the urge to jump off a cliff edge while standing on it.
To put it into simple words, it's the desire to do something self-destructive while being aware that it is dangerous.
I chose this title because it perfectly conveys the story, the way the reader knows that the voyage to find Hanma's killer would make her lose parts of herself, the entire theme of the story is summed up in 3 words. Destruction, Chaos, Reflection of self and Losing yourself to find a new you.
