Adam sighed as the noise rose with gossiping girls. They were admiring the view of the bright colors and magical lanterns lighting the evening sky. Even Tanner seemed nervous as he gazed out at the new city.

"It's so different from Trayson." Tanner mumbled as Ivy paused. He was right. Trayson was nothing like this, she decided as the carriage came to a stop. The door opened and they emptied out onto the bustling streets.

Ivy paused when something changed, frowning as she turned back towards the forest, hidden from view. An odd feeling in her chest as the mother tree called out, welcoming someone home in her place. She would have to talk to Adam privately about it, worried how he might react once he found they were no longer the rulers of Trayson.

"Of course not. Not every place can be home. So why don't you ladies go shopping? There is a pretty popular tavern we can meet up at for food. Just over there." Adam told them, pulling Ivy back to Welpion. Noticing Adam pointing at the large dome building. He handed the women a coin purse as Kielia dragged Ivy into the crowd. Adam watched them go smiling at their curvy hips.

"You slept with Kielia didn't you?" Tanner asked making Adam frown at him. The boy smirked knowing he was right.

"She slept with my dad too. She never looks at a man twice. She has been avoiding you. At first, I thought it was because of Ivy, but I have watched my dad try to get her attention before." Tanner explained as Adam rolled his eyes walking off.

"I wasn't interested in her the first time around. Just a toy to curb my boredom. This stays between you and me if you want to be something more than a bathroom attendant, got it?" Adam growled. Tanner nodded keeping quiet as he followed. He paused once grabbing Adams arm. Adam glared at him for his insolence, before he followed his pointed finger.

"That's Rosila." He said almost in a whisper. Adam smiled noticing she was alone.

"I need you to prove yourself to me. Go over to her and say you were coming here for training and that you will be staying at this place, but you can't seem to find it. See if you can bring her here. If you can, I will make sure you and your mother never have to work again. I will meet you there. Deal?" Adam asked scribbling the address on a piece of paper.

Tanner nodded taking the sheet and wandering after her. It seemed simple enough, though he didn't understand why. It was that midget they were after. Rosila could come second.

Rosila was still giggling to herself as she thought of the blossoming relationship between her and the small elf. She had never considered dating a guy shorter than her and hadn't considered dating someone more than fifty years older either. She also hadn't met Suzy before.

"Rosy?" She came to a halt twirling around. Tanner stared at her uncertain as she looked him over.

"What are you doing here?" She asked confused as Tanner sighed. He had been surprised to see her so happy. He could never make her smile at him like that. The sudden change in her when he approached stung a little.

"I thought about the last time we talked at the ball. The midget was right. I'm not a man yet, but I want to become one. I talked with Hank, and he set it up for me to come and train under the bossy know it all. I'm supposed to be staying at this place, but I am having trouble finding it. I was about to give up, but when I saw you, I figured why not at least ask, you know? Give me a chance to apologize for being an ass." Tanner told her sincerely making Rosila hesitate. This was going to be interesting if he was in town too. Not that he even came close to Suzy. She sighed holding out her hand.
