"darling, you look pretty done.", jake commented while watching me drag myself into his unit.

"the elevator isn't working, so i just had to take the stairs... while having a bad hangover. jake, i feel like vomiting."

"i mean it. you don't look well. i think we should pay a visit to the hospital." he got up from the couch and kissed my forehead, "i'm worried about you. not about your drinking problem though, just remember that."

"i don't have a drinking problem! but if you insist, we can go to the hospital today.", i tiredly replied and touched my forehead.

  

turns out this building had an exclusive elevator only a few knew about. and jake happened to have the card for it.

when we arrived at the ground floor and proceeded to walk out, a sudden wave of camera flashes surprised me.

"miss woo, a statement please!"

"is it true that you are close to lee heeseung?"

"what do you have to say about his speech?"

"and where are you going now? are you paying him a visit?"

my knees felt like giving up in that moment, which is why i clinched onto jake's arm as if life depended on it.

"this is ridiculous! can't you see she's about to pass out? don't you have sense for other human beings and proper working conditions? leave her alone, she has nothing to do with that actor and she needs medical help right now!", jake yelled furiously as he tried to get through the crowd.

eventually the lights stopped flashing, or it could be me who has passed out.

"what did you just say?"

i fixed my polo shirt and looked at sunghoon in shock. luckily he let me stay here for a while before i actually sorted out some things with yujin and my father.

"jieun was hospitalised. k-media reported about it, it seems like they were there for a statement regarding to your speech, but she passed out right next to jake instead."

"she's totally overworked and exhausted! and yesterday was a massive factor to her health! i'm driving to the hospital.", i sternly said and got my car keys.

"heeseung hyung, i think it would be better to leave her alone with jake and her brother first. i bet he heard about her as well already and she shouldn't be visited by so many people yet. she was literally mobbed an hour ago."

"maybe you're right. but it's my fault! paying her a visit is the minimum."

"i'm coming with you before you cross the line again. i'm not saying you did yesterday, but you've done lots of bullshit.", sunghoon stated and went downstairs immediately.
