The next morning I get up and hurry to get ready and shake ryan awake he groans and rubs his eyes.

"Come on we have to leave to the station"

He nods and sits up yawning I slide on my socks and my shoes and place my phone into my pocket and watch as ryab pulls his shirt on and hurry to pit his pants on.

He slides on his socks and grabs his phone hurrying over to the door and slides on his shoes we hurry out of the hotel room and down to the lobby and see everyone else there.

"Ready guys?" Kaitlyn ask

"Ya all good"

"Alright let's go"

We walk out for the hotel and see cars waiting for us I climb in with Ryan and Kaitlyn as I watch the others climb into the other cars the driver starts to drive I watch the trees as we drive.

We pull into the police station and get out of the car we all walk in and over to the front desk.

"Good morning" the officer says

"Were all alive can we go home now?" Max says

"Ya you guys can call a ride" he says pointing to the phone as the desk.

We all take turns calling someone I walk up to the phone and dial my moms number.

"Hello?" She answers

"Hey mom.."

"DYLAN!?"

"Ya its me"

"Where have you been I've been worried sick!"

"I know I'm sorry but could you come pick me up at the police station.."

"Oh my.. I'll be there soon" I hear her sigh then hang up I pick the phone back down and walk over to a seat and sit down.

I look out the window when a car pulls up my mom storms out of the car and into the building she whips her head around and spots me.

"Dylan" she sighs I stand up and walk over.

"I'm sorry mom"

"Its alright love I'm just glad your okay" she smiles

I look back at my friends and smile before i follow my mom out of the building and over to the car.

She starts the car and we drive in silence until we get to the house I get out and hurry inside I look around seeing my cat walking out of the kitchen he sees me and meows and walks over I smile and pick him up with my wrist and hold him close.

"God I missed you so much" I say listening to him pur

"He's been sleeping in your room" mom says walking past me

I just smile

"So mind telling me what happened?" She says

"Well it's a long story... well you were sleeping I got a call from Chris saying we all needed to meet him so I left a note before I left but it must have gotten lost"

I lied my mom nods

"Alright" 

For the rest of the day I cuddle with my cat and watching movies with my mom it sucked having to lie to her but I knew she would worry if I told her and I didn't want to stress her out she was already sad about me leaving next week.

My phone dings and I turn it on seeing a text from ryan.

Mind if I stop by?"

"No go ahead"

"Alright see you soon"

I smile and turn my phone off and looking back at the tv after like 20 minutes a car pulls up I stand up and head outside I see ryan get out but he doesn't smile he just walks over to me.

"Hey whats wrong?" I ask

"I feel really bad for lying to you.."

"Lying to me..?"

"I do want to go to college I want to go for arts but why I can't go is because of my sister.."

"Ryan.."

"And now your going to college and it really has been bothering me..."

"Why?"

"Because... I feel like I'll be holding you back because you said that you would spend all your free time with me and it's not like a don't want that I really do but you can't you need to make friends and go to party's and to just live your life and I don't want to hold you back"

"Ryan what are you talking about.."

"I love you I really do but I feel like I'll just hold you back.."

"Ryan don't think like that I love you and I still want to be with you even if we can't see each other all the time"

"I just can't let you.."

"What..?"

"It hurts for me to even think about doing this but... we need to break up"

"What!?"

"I'm sorry I really am" he says I feel my eyes become watery this couldn't be real..

"Ryan please think about this.."

"I have...and as much as I hate it this is what has to happen"

"It doesn't we can make it work!"

"Dylan please"

"No I finally got you after months of liking you and you just want to throw it away!?"

"We could make it work i love you so much and I don't want to just end because of school"

"Dylan I'm sorry" he sighs he cups my face and gives me one kiss I didn't even kiss back I stood there crying watching he walk back to his car and drove off...

So that's it... Ryan made his choice he knew how he wanted to live his life...
