I pulled myself out of bed and to my closet. After rummaging through my outfits for my school uniform, finding it, and putting the uniform on, I noticed a note on the front. It said:

"A surprise? What?" I said while crumpling up the note. I glanced at my clock: 8:10. I headed down to the front door and found my mom had put my school bag there too!
"BYE MOM!!" I yelled. Then I grabbed my bag and bolted out the door.

It was probably 7:00 when I started my walk to Rainbow Hills Middle School. Bored, I brought my Negative Energy book and an ink packet out from my bag.

I opened the book slowly, wondering why I was doing this. I burst the packet open and wiped the substance inside on the book pages. "Spread Shadow Ink! Bad End Makeover!" The dark sky turned an ombre of a darker shade of the colors of the rainbow. "Shadow bands! Shadow boots! I'm shadowriffic!" My hair grew and styled into a rose bun with vines(imagine the hair as the same color in Greatest Power).

My clothes changed to a dark purple outfit with knee-high boots/thigh-high leggings.

Now I stood not knowing what to do next. The sky got dark again and I decided to keep walking to school. After about 5 minutes I arrived at my destination. It was 7:35, so I still had time to do whatever I wanted. I decided to enjoy the peacefulness of the morning. I changed back to my normal form and lay down. I put all of my things away and closed my eyes, but something seemed... off. I opened my eyes, sat up, and saw a girl!
"Hi! I'm Emily! Um... where is everyone?" The girl asked.
"It's 7:40. What did you expect?" I replied.
"Oh wow! I got here way early then!" Emily exclaimed. "Maybe my clock was wrong.... But anyway, can I sit with you?"
I nodded, and she sat down next to me.
