I woke up with a massive headache, my heads feel disconnected from my body and it's so heavy. I slowly sat up and performed a breathing exercise to try and ease the pain.

My eyes fell to the mini lamp table and on there, I saw a couple of aspirin and a glass of water with a little note

For the headache

Yun lang yung naka lagay. Pero bigla akong kinabahan ng mapag tanto na wala ako sa kwarto ko. Agad kong tiningna ang katawan ko na naka balot ng makapal na blanket, kumalma naman akong kaunti ng makitang suot ko parin ang damit ko kagabi.

Inilibot ko ang aking tingin, and when I finally realized where I'm at. I decided it's better to disappear right here right now than to show my face again

I'm at Miss Dela Fuente's room, and how did I know? I saw her Gucci luggage with her name on it.

I jumped from the bed not minding how my head is still in pain. I grabbed the pills and made my way to the door and bumping into someone on my way out.

"Gosh are you alright?" Aisling asked

"Yeah, sorry. I d-don't know how I ended up here. B-but I swear I did not do anything with h-her" I stuttered

Dahil sa kaba at hiya na nararamdaman ko. Baka isipin pa niya may ginawa kami ng jowa nya eh sa ayoko ng issue

"Hold on, do you think I am dating your boss?" she asked, a creeping humor is obvious in her tone

Hindi ako naka sagot, ayoko namang sabihing Oo dahil baka sabihin nya judgmental ako. I was lost in thoughts when she laughed

"Christ wept! Me and your monster boss will never happen. We've been best friends for as long as I can remember"

I blinked a couple of times to make sure I heard her right. So, they are just friends? I can't believe it! Nagpaka lasing paman din ako dahil sa selos tapos hindi naman pala sila.

"You were jealous" she stated

Yes, it wasn't a question. She said that as a matter-of-factly.

"I don't know what you're talking about" I denied. I was able to hold my voice stable

"I saw how you look at her. It lingers, and it's obvious that you were jealous last night" she accused with a knowing smirk playing on her lips.

I know deep down that she is right, but she doesn't have to know that. Hindi ko mapigilan na mapaiwas ng tingin.

"I knew it" she said in a victorious tone

"Hindi ako nag seselos, I have no reason to be jealous. Besides, our relationship is purely professional." Mataray kong depensa para hini halatang nag sisinungaling ako
