Twenty seven

Not sure why but I cried writing this one, it has happened very few times for me and definitely the first time for this story. I did get emo while writing a few scenes in this story but this is the first time tears rolled down.

'I missed you.' Rah engulfed Harry into a hug.

'I can't breathe.'

'I don't care.'

'Along with age did love for me grow as well?' Harry asked.

If there were anyone together after all that has happened it was them. Having conflicting views didn't affect their friendship at all.

'Hello.' greeted an awkward Rishu as he walked into Harry's house, where all the boys were about to meet again after atleast a decade.

'How are you Rishu?' Rah pulled him for a warm hug and Harry joined them.

'Umm hey' this awkward tone belonged to Shrey who had just walked in and stood next to the three who were balled up in a hug.

'How's our magician?' Harry asked him.

Harry and Rah have talked about this day a lot for the past decade. What's it's gonna be like? Will we all get together again? Will there be awkwardness?

But all they could feel that day with their brothers coming one after another was nostalgia.

This team played together for almost two years after that incident but that closeness was somehow lost. And slowly one after one had started retiring.

The younger ones did play for longer and also did try to resolve their issue but it never worked, it got difficult for them then they have imagined to play without any of their bhaiyyas. 

And once they retired, they never bothered to be in touch with the others, the exception being Harry and Rah.

Jaddu walked in and the first thing he did was slapping Harry and the second - repeating the same on Rah.

'Did you guys need ten years to call me?' his voice was quavering.

'Did Virat and Rohit come?' asked Jinks.

'No, we couldn't reach them.' Harry said.

'We've all made mistakes, We've all said things that we didn't mean to, We all want one chance to rewrite what has happened. Don't we?' asked Rah addressing the boys.

'I am sorry for what I've done. If I didn't start that discussion that day, we would all probably been together all this time.' Jinks stood up to apologise.

'To be honest it's really disgusting of us all to take sides between Mahi bhai and Virat. We should all be ashamed our ourselves. And I hate myself to have realised this after three years after-' Ash voice trailed off as tears made way down from his eyes.

'Virat bhaiyya backed me up so many times but still I was foolish enough to blame him for what happened to Sakshi bhabhi and fight with you all.'
It was Rishu's turn.

'Even I should have not gone against Mahi bhai for not believing Ro bhaiya and blaming him for bhabhi and Virat bhaiyya's accident.' yuzi said.

They have all shared how they regretted their actions and missed the team but how they were too ashamed of themselves to speak to the others.

Rah noticed how jassi was sitting silently who seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

'Jassi what's wrong?' Rah asked.

'Nothing. I'm fine. I'm happy we are all getting back together.' jassi lied and ofcourse Rah caught him but decided to talk to him later in private.

'So how's life?' jaddu asked Bhuvi.
