'Bade papa I told you to be here at 10:00 am it's already 10:05. Where are you?' whined Sammy on the phone.
'We are almost there. Vami joined us on the way that's why the delay.'
'You mean I'm the delay?'
'Wait, why is Vami with you? Mr. M.S. Dhoni this is not done. It's my birthday and you should meet me first and not her.'
'Stop being jealous Sammy. Don't you know that we share a deeper bond than you two.' Vami decided to make her even more jealous.
'It's fine Sammy. Let him be her side, I and mumma are your team. Right mumma?' Ziva took the phone from M.S
'Di please focus on driving. Both your mumma and papa are my team.'
'I am team Vi and Ro. And also team Rits and Nush. So don't interfere me in your fights as well. And Mahi how do you have the strength to manage two generations?' asked Sakshi from the rare seat.
'Yay Vi chachu and Nush chachi have come. Ok bye, I'll talk to you guys later.' spoke an excited Sammy as she cut the call.
'They were supposed to return from their vacation in the evening right?' Ziva asked.
'There's no way they'd miss her birthday. I'm sure they wanted to suprise here. Right Vami?' Ms asked.
'Yeah it's a surprise. Di drive fast na. With this speed we'll reach after 12:00 am.'
'Be patient Vami. Did you forget that we got late because of you?'
'It's because of Agu. He's been eating my brain non stop. So go scold him.'
'I need some silence in the car please.' sakshi ordered and it was implemented.
'Is the gift ready?' Vami called Ruhan to enquire.
'Yes it is. We are taking care of everything. Aarya di was telling that Jad chachu was planned something crazy. I wonder what it would be.'
'He might gift her a sword and convince her to learn sword fighting from him.' M.S said.
'But he's so cool. Dad is boring in that way. Sometimes I wish like exchanging dad's with agu.' Ruhan sighed.
'Ow that's so mean. Wait till I tell this to him. Anyways we've reached her house. See you soon.'
'Vamiiii' Sammy squealed as she rushed to hug Vami, conveniently ignoring every other person.
'Someone wanted us to be in their team but I guess we became invisible now. Sakshi are you sure you didn't mix any invisibility potion in my morning's Tea?'Mahi bhai taunted.
'Ziva di. I missed you.' Agu pulled her into an embrace reminding the elders of Harry and his Mahi bhai.
'C'mon Virat, I play better football than you.' Rah was slightly pissed by Vi's constant boasting about his football skills.
'Any Tom dick Harry can play football. A real man wields a sword.'
'I've lost count of how many years it has been since we met and this guy keeps talking the same shit.' sighed Ro.
'Rohit bhai why are bhabhi's serving only cold drinks. Where are our drinks?' asked yuzi.
'I promised Isha that I'd quit alcohol. Can we postpone that event to later?' Rishu pleaded.
'Yeah sure. What shall we do until then?' shrey asked.
'Everyone come here. It's time for cake cutting.' Vi yelled to gather everyone's attention.
'All of you should wear these caps.' Mahi bhai began distributing them.
'Chachu, bade papa, I'm not five year old.' Sammy was embarrassed.
'Your mental age is five. Thats why.' agu shrugged earning a smack from sammy which inturn resulted in them fighting like three year kids.
'He spent 60,000 rupees for that hairstyle. Leave his hair sammy.' begged Ruhan.
'He's a spend thrift like his Vi chachu then.' Ro commented.
'He's earning it, let him enjoy that.' Vami took his side.
'Bhuvi, do you plan on coming here or not? Also where are Ash, Jinks, Shikhar? Where are you all?' Vi impatiently called Bhuvi.
'Look at him eating his 10th gulab jamun. What are you doing coach?' Ro asked as he pointed at agu.
'Chachus stop staring at me eat. You guys might be the president and head coach but this my bestie's birthday bash. So go get a life both of you and stop staring at people eat.' agu spoke with a mouthful of jamuns.
'Be careful or they'll bench you for the entire series. It's fine though, I'd be made the captain then.' Ruhaan teased.
'But I seriously don't understand why Vi is made the head coach. I am the allrounder so shouldn't I be made the head coach?' whined Harry.
'It should've been you or me. Why him? He can't even bowl.' remarked jaddu.
'Aye he's right arm quick bowler.' jassi reminded them.
'Jassi chachu your daughter lacks time sense. Where is she?' Sammy asked him.
'Juniors go aside. Don't disturb us and leave us alone.' Kl shooed the kids away.
'We should all go for a trip.' he told the others.
'Our president and head coach have become so busy that they lack time for their friends.' sighed jaddu dramatically.
'Oh shut up jaddu. We know how jealous you are!' Vi instantly dismissed him.
'Why am I jealous? They've given you two these posts as compensation. If it was a competition I would have won for sure.'
'Guys Mahi bhai came.' Rishu informed them and they all rushed outside to meet their bhai before anyone else.
'Mahi bhai, I missed you so much.' Vi hugged him tightly.
'Your daughter is here as well. Missed her even by a bit?' Vami asked.
'I missed you vami.' Ro told her as he took her into embrace.
'Look what yuzi is doing.' shrey showed them a video of yuzi trying to act cool in a reel with his kids.
'I wonder how Dhana is bearing them!' sighed Kl.
'Just like how Mahi bhai is bearing us all.' said Harry as a matter of fact.
'Bhai, you know what Vi did?' Ro was waiting to complain about Vi while Vi began opposing it resulting in another usual banter of theirs making the others roll their eyes.
And that was just another usual day for them.
