A Great Defense

"Shall we continue?" Baelz asks pointing at Suisei with a grin, her deep red aura, spiking red, white, and black hair, and her veined eyes show her immense power, longing to be unleashed.
Suiseis shell wraps around her head and Baelz flies at her. She throws a punch and Suisei dodges, just barely, and counters with an uppercut. Baelz takes it to the chin and smiles with blood dripping out of her mouth while looking down at Suisei. Baelz responds with a large sweeping kick but Suisei hops over her head and behind her, almost seeming as if she teleported, and delivers a kick of her own to the back of Baelz' head, and again, baelz tanks it.
She takes her hands and tries to grab Suisei but Suisei drops her leg and kicks off Baelz' back after she already tried her grab. She scrapes across the ground and dashes back to Baelz' front. Her fists glow and leave a trail. She Throws three lightning fast jabs and Baelz just tanks them with a menacing smile. Suisei summons her axe and swings it at Baelz' knees, it shatters against her legs and Suisei has the axe reform and fade while squinting her wide white eyes.

"Bae's defense it too much for Suisei to handle, even with whatever power she has." Kronii comments, "It may be fast and nimble, but her power is far too weak to do a thing...".
"You would be correct on one part..." a voice from behind says, Kronii turns around and walking into the booth is Kanata, bandaged up and back into commission. "Sure you don't wanna lay and rest for a while long?" Kronii waves and Kanata leans on the rails looking into the arena, "As lovely as that would be, I can't miss something like this." Kanata replies with a smile, "so what did you mean, by "one part" " Kronii asks.

"Well, Suisei is a speed type, yes, and that mode does drain stamina while making her attacks weaker. However..." Kanata focuses her eyes and they glow a slight blue, "That isn't all there is to her mode... out of that mode her strength and speed is a solid B+ but while in it her speed is far beyond a triple A but her strength is still a B+. She gains control over the inner energy gained by the machine she went through and channels it, taking the speed it can send something from one point to another, in other words, almost instantly... as for her axe, it's made by solidifying that energy. Hence her ability to reconstruct it, resize it, and control its flight at will." Kanata explains and looks over to Baelz, "ok well then why isn't she leaving a mark on Bae? A little while ago she was putting up a fight." Kronii asks.
"As for that, you didn't see this since you were fighting other beasts, but this form she's taking right now was created during Titanomachy. It allows her to take an insane amount of damage and turn it into fighting power. But it's not to be mistaken as absorbing damage, no... she feels it all, but she doesn't waver. Chances are she plans to drain Suiseis stamina to force her out of her shell, then when she can't dodge, Baelz will finish the fight." Kanata finishes explaining and closes her eyes, then Kronii looks back into the arena.

Suisei unleashes a barrage of punches and swings of her axe but Baelz doesn't flinch. And finally,
*Crack*
Suiseis shell falls off her face to reveal her widened eyes and a sweat bead drops down her cheek. Baelz smiles and raises her hand. Before Suisei can even think Baelz punches her in the gut and sends her flying as she spits up blood.
Baelz gets to the floor and bends one leg under her while keeping the other extended back, with both of her hands extended Infront if her gripping the ground, shattering it.
Red thunder envelopes her body and her deep red aura grows sharper, the sky darkens and the arena changes to a large field. In the distance massive tornados swirl and lightning strikes with high winds, All the while The waves of energy emitted from Baelz sounds like maniacal laughter coming from a crowd of the damned souls of the deranged. Baelz looks up at Suisei who's struggling to keep balance with the high winds and tenses up. "HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR THIS ONE, HOSHIMACHI SUISEI!!"

"CATACLYSMIC CHARGE!!"

Faster than anyone could blink their eyes, Baelz leaves a line of crumbled ground and met Suiseis gaze, with her charging fist hurling straight at Suiseis body. Suddenly, Suisei's mode reinitiates, and she blinks above Baelz with her axe held high, and slams it down on Baelz.
Baelz has a slice through her left side of her abdomen and struggles to stand.
"D-Damn you! You made me think you ran out of stamina!!" She shouts while coughing up blood and Suisei fades the shell from her face, "I'm sorry, but I won't be losing this match.". Suisei walks up to Baelz and kicks her arms to knock her to the ground again, she flips her axe to the blunt side and swings at Baelz' head. It hits and Baelz doesn't even flinch, she turns her head to smile at Suisei with more blood coming out of her mouth. She gets to her feet while Suisei attempts to stop her but isn't able to, and she reaches out to Suisei. Suisei again evades her reach but again, the shell cracks.

"Hm... so she really is out of stamina now... their endless trade of not being able to finish the job should end here." Kronii says and Kanata stays quiet while squinting with glowing eyes.

Suiseis shell reinitiates again and her aura grows larger, she looks over at Baelz while standing still. "Don't push yourself now, would hate for you to die of exhaustion." Baelz says while walking over to Suisei, who remains completely unresponsive. An audible deep inhale is heard coming from Suisei and she exhales, behind her shell, the wide white eyes shut and she drops her head. Baelz doesn't hesitate and charges straight at Suisei, and within a fraction of a second dishes out a killer punch, that Suisei easily evades. Baelz gets upset and continues to throw punches and kicks, that Suisei keeps avoiding. "You're only gonna drain yourself like this! You're wasting everyone's time!" Baelz shouts as she continues to throw punch after punch and Suiseis keeps dodging. Finally Suisei opens her eyes and stares Baelz down while dodging one of her punches, and responds with a punch to the gut.
"W-What...?!" Baelz' stomach wraps around Suiseis arm and she steps back holding it. Before she can get her ground again Suiseis blinks forward and punches her in the face.

"A-AMAZING!! SUISEIS ONCE USELESS ATTACKS ARE FINALLY LEAVING THEIR MARK!! BAELZ IS TRAPPED IN AN ONSLAUGHT OF LIGHTNING FAST BLOWS!!"

Baelz attempts to make a portal under herself but Suisei just drags her away from it. Baelz closes her eyes and opens them to a glowing red while staring Suisei down as she did when she first cast an illusion on Suisei. Just when she thought Suisei stopped, Suisei delivered another punch and the barrage continued.

"Hey! Shouldn't that illusion have stunned Suisei?!" Kronii asks and looks over to Kanata, "Suiseis heart is completely calm, her head is completely clear, she may even be in the illusion, but her body is still moving as she wants it to. Like an instinct."

Suisei summons her axe and winds it back Baelz, she tries to put up a guard but Suisei punches her to her arm and only her right arm is raised. Suisei swings and slices through her wrist. She looks at the blood spewing out of her severed hand and is snapped out of it by one final kick to the face. Suisei lowers her leg and looks at her fist with an uncertain face. Baelz gets to her knees and hovers her left hand over the rights wound. She cauterizes it and stands up, looking directly into the sky while sighing. "I get it... you traded out your defense for offense... since you had the speed to dodge my attacks it's not like you'd need a lot of energy to actually tank them... but..." Baelz bends hers arms and drops her head to look down, she lowers her stance and her aura returns as her hair stands, "I REFUSE TO LET YOU WIN!!"

Baelz' hair begins to glow and she, seemingly painfully, continues to power up. she opens her mouth and out of it, smoke pours out and fills the arena quickly. It subsides and this time Baelz breathes fire. She stands straight and lifts her head, the fire rises, pours over her shoulders, and down her body. the flames wrap around her wrists and around her ankles. Finally, it envelopes her head and she stops releasing the flame, which is now on her head, around her hair. she stands still for a moment and the aura and lightning reengage. finally she hunches over and looks directly at Suisei with her shrunken pupils and veiny eyes, all the while steam comes out of her open mouth. "HAHA... I DIDN'T THINK YOU'D EVER PUSH ME THIS FAR...! LET'S SEE HOW FARE NOW!!"
