A Royal Upbringing

Underwater on the shore of a beach, with a kingdom atop a nearby hill

An oil barrel drops into the water and leaks, it sinks to a massive dump of trash and pollution.
In the water a great kingdom resides, filled with life similar looking to humanity but able to breathe underwater.

Inside the Underwater Kingdom...

One of the fish men slam a large table, with many people sitting around it. "DAMMIT!! DOES THE ROYAL FAMILY CHOOSE DO NOTHING?! WE'RE BEING DISREGARDED AND TREATED LIKE TRASH BY THOSE HUMANS!!" He shouts,
"ARTEMIS!! TALK TO THE FAMILY, YOU'RE CLOSE AREN'T YOU?!" He continues while looking over to a girl with, near black, blue hair fins on the sides of her head and one dorsal atop it. She wears a chestplate over her simple shirt. She looks over to the man with her black eyes.
"It's Artemis of The Blue, to you." She says, "now calm down, the family doesn't want to cause conflict and I'm more than sure they already plan to discuss with the humans to relocate their trash deposits.". Another girl sits up and picks up after Artemis, "Right, we should avoid conflict as much as we possibly can." The blonde girl with blue highlights and one small fin protruding form her hair continues. The man looks over to her, "Pikamee, we can't afford to wait any longe-"
"That's why I'm going right now." A deep voice says. Everyone in the room stands and bows their heads as a tall man wearing shining armor walks into the room. Everyone simultaneously, "WELCOME KING ENALIOS!!"
The man with long white hair and a crown sits at the end of the table and waves for the rest of the people to sit themselves. "I myself will be going to the surface to meet with the humans." He explains, "We will come to an agreement or They'll know our wrath."

Later, a guard patrols around the walls and sees a floating object in the water. The guard signals to turn the spotlight to the object and it's revealed to be a sealed barrel. From the seems oil slightly peers out and once the spotlight points away the guard notices a small orange glow and before he can begin to wonder what it is.

BOOM

More barrels fall into the water from boats dropping them above the kingdom and also begin to explode. Panic ensues and around the kingdom people swarm while throwing spears at the barrels so they explode higher above the kingdom to cause less damage.
People frantically shout to each other.
"OVER THERE!!"
"WE NEED A MEDIC!!"
"SOUTHERN TOWER HAS GONE DOWN!!"
"WHERE IS ENALIOS!?!?"
However, louder than any of those voices in this time of crisis, one rang louder than any other.

"I AM HERE!!"

A trident soars through the water and destroys barrels, repelling form the explosion to another barrel and to another. Finally they bounce up and shatter through the human boats. The trident soars into the air and begins to fall, but it's caught. A shorter girl with white hair and deep blue highlights smiles with her sharp teeth as she stares down the other human boat.
"Enalios has given the order, I Gawr Gura princess of Atlantis, hereby announce Enalios' declaration of war!!" She shouts proudly while pointing her trident at the other attackers. The men seemingly write something down and a hawk carries a note away. "Great, you understand, now let's get this party started, shall we?!" Gura says while staring down the attackers with a glorious smile, "should I maybe not use this trident and fight with one arm behind my back?"

The men aboard the ship stay silent and draw their bows as another two boats circle around to pincer Gura. She disappointedly drops her arm and pouts, "fine then, you guys aren't cool anyways...!" She says in a bratty voice. The arrows fly and Gura takes a stance then spins her trident in front of her which deflects every arrow. The ship In front of her points towards her and together with the other two ships in either side of Gura begin to speed up to ram her. She looks to either side of her and just when they are close enough she thrusts her Trident into the air and drags herself along with it. All Three ships ram into one another and Gura spins in the air and sends her trident flying into the center of the ships. Separating the water in a circle to drop the boats down to the ocean floor. She lands and grabs onto her trident then lifts it out of the ground.
And The water closes in and crushes the boats.

"Ah~ I love the wind in my hair..." Gura boasts,
She turns around and spots a surviving soldier swimming for air. She watched as he struggled to get to the surface and drew her trident back. She hesitates and when she comes to, the man has drowned. She drops her arm and looks at the sea floor. "Gura!" A voice from behind shouts.
Gura turns around "Thats Princess Gura to yo-"
She stops talking when she notices it's Artemis, "oh it's you, whaddya want?".
Artemis quickly grabs her and turns her to the direction of Atlantis. And before both of their eyes, Atlantis collapses from the inside into a crevasse, laced with explosives by the humans.
Guras smile fades and her hair's highlights turn from their signature deep blue to a blood red.
She drops her trident and dashes with insane speed to the beaches. In a mere 3 seconds she swam from a dark ocean to the sun set on the horizon. The land is coated in a deep shade as dark clouds envelope the sky. Winds pick up and thunder strikes. Gura raises her hand slowly as the ocean water swirls around her and into her hand, forming a trident. She twirls it around her fingers and rams it into the ground with both of her hands.

"Woe to you Earth... for you have brought on the wrath of The Gods... Humanity...!!!"

The ground In front of Gura crumbles and a large crack in the Earth extends to the human kingdom. "Tell Hades he can suck it, scum." The crevasse widens and the kingdom collapses into the it, Then the crevasse slams closed. 13 strikes of thunder hit survivors of the human kingdom, Gura stares as her trident turns back to water and the storms fades. Her hair highlights fade to a light blue and She returns to the water to meet Enalios and the remaining council.
"We begin rebuilding immediately, the remaining civilians want the home they once had." Enalios announces, the rest of the council seems to object and call for war, but Gura stands, "War will only bring us more pain and loss... let's rebuild... that kingdom was the only threat anyway." She turns and leaves. For the next decade Atlantis would rebuild, but meet conflict, rebuild, meet conflict, and eventually they were pushed far into the depths. Gura had changed, more benevolent and buried her fighting personality deep within her family mind, but was still strong as ever. All until, The Age of Darknesss.

Called to arms when Takanashi Kiara and, The Watchman of Tartarus and Council Member, Laplus Darknesss engaged in a fight within the ocean and damaged the sea life, Gura joined the small league of fighters against Laplus consisting of...

Before the final battle began Gura and Kiara ventured into the abyss and followed Poseidons trail to "The True Atlantis" far beneath the Earth There, she would be forced to prove herself against a mock Poseidon that the God of The Sea left behind. During the fight she was forced to rely on her self shunned side, and her highlights turned red again. She got the strength needed and defeated the mock Poseidon. After defeating him, Gura took his trident, And threw it to the ground, stomping it to dust.
She grew tired of the kingdom she resided providing absolutely every piece of her life to her and instead of carrying on it's or Poseidon's Legacy, she chose to create her own.
The Age of Darknesss came to an end so she returned to her kingdom with her newly created legacy, and became the Queen of Atlantis, and The God of The Seven Seas.
