The Tournament to Stop The Apocalypse, A Hololive Fan Story

One Goal

"Great... I've got an idea" Roboco responds as she smiles, "activate the reserves, there's one more source of energy this planet can offer, we just need a lot of power to get there. It's doable though.".

"Hmph, that bucket of bolts won't last much longer..." Baelz says, Sana looks over, "come on now, at least call her by her name." She says, Baelz looks back, "Whats that? Giving a single shit about these savages?" Baelz scoffs, "And you're not?" Sana asks. "Both of you pipe down, she's about to do something!" Kronii interjects, "Tch... say that to Sana, I was just talkin to myself!" Baelz spouts as she looks back into the ring.

Roboco soars into the air as Fauna emits light glowing ever brighter. Both of Roboco's hands seem to blur as she dives down to the ground, Fauna braces but Roboco flies right past her and into the ground, then she begins to dive even further beneath the earth. "Hm... so she can vibrate her hands at such a rate to shatter stone...? But why would she dig into the ground... and into the earth... below the... crust!!" Fauna's eyes widen as she runs over to the opening that Roboco created. Her eyes glow and illuminated the tunnel but she sees as there's an ending that seems to turn, "You're kidding!! She used more energy to do that!?" Fauna says to herself as she begins to zoom through the winding tunnels. She reaches an opening into a cave. "Tch... you'd think she'd have a scanner to not run into this..." Fauna thinks to herself, "wait, there's no other openings..." she lights the entire cave up and as she said there is no other hole leading out of the cave, she looks around and notices a lose rock underneath the hole she entered from. She walks to it and pulls it out and looks thought the small gap and sees more tunneling. "You sneaky rat, you almost got me..." Fauna says as she blasts through the fake wall and into the tunnel, and from within the cave she just left, a small rock falls from the ceiling, and something heavier drops. "Hmph, that should keep her distracted for at least another couple minutes... depending on how far the vibrations of the punch I sent weakened a path..." Roboco says as she blasts out of the path leading into the cave. Collapsing the cave and the tunnel leading to and out of it. Roboco flies out of the tunnels she made and lasers a circle around it, causing the rocks to give in and collapse even further on the opening, then she looks around and flies off. In the caves Fauna continues to spiral until she finally reaches a dead end, "W-What!?" She shouts, and she hears the sound of rumbling behind her as the tunnel collapses her face tenses up and she grits her teeth in anger, the rubble closes in on her and her eyes begin to glow even brighter and grow even wider as she lets out a scream that repels the rocks. Her radiant light glows even brighter as she hears her scream return to her and she bursts through the path she came from with ease, "WHEN I GET UP THERE, I WILL RIP YOU LIMB FROM LIMB YOU SCRAPHEAP!!"

Far away, over the evaporated ocean...

Roboco flies and notices a bright shine, "looks like I found it, and it's exactly as I thought it'd be..." she says to herself as she approaches a sheet of Glass over entirety of the Sahara. She flies over and lands on the glass. She punches down onto the surface and the glass cracks. She rests her hand onto the crack and closes her eyes, "good, it thick enough." She flies out a couple meters and lasers a circular chunk of glass, she presses her hand against it and begins to lift it as small suction cups keep it against her hand, she turns it toward the sun and angles it to where the sun shines through it and focuses on one point. "Great, Iris dump all remaining power into these two hands so they can keep the glass in place, make sure to leave me with .001 percent though, I'll only need a couple seconds." Roboco says, "You've got it, good luck, Roboco." Iris replies, Iris fades out as Roboco detaches her hands and falls to the ground. She crawls over to the hole she made and takes her ripped jacket off, her chest opens up as her core is exposed and she kneels in front of the glass as the sun shines directly into it. Roboco's eyes go blank as she sits still. Her limp body begins to lean back but suddenly she jolts awake and keeps it still, "Welcome back, Roboco." Iris says, "I thought I lost you." she jokes, Roboco smiles as she feels energy rushing into her, "Fauna just sent a pulse of energy and it bounced off me back to her, she's out of the tunnels and I assume heading this way now." Roboco says, "at the rate the wave came in, I assume she'll be here in under 4 minutes, luckily that's the perfect amount of time we need"

Back at the area where the tunnels were made...

A flash of light expels from the rubble as an explosion blasts it away and Fauna bursts out from the smoke. "You can't hide from me damn you!!" Fauna shouts and she tenses her body, "uuurrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" A shockwave is unleashes as she roars into the sky and she waits patiently. The shockwave seems to return from many different locations but as she focuses one shockwave outlines a figure, and then another, and another. "You little..." she looks around and notices Roboco's discarded shoulder, she drops down to it extending her hand and she picks it up. A bright light shines as it turns into a bird. It looks around for a second and locks on one direction, then it takes flight. Fauna smiles as she bursts past the bird in the direction it was heading in. Back in the grassland, Roboco stands as steam expels form her body, her hands fly back to her and reattach. The glass magnifying the sun begins to lose balance and fall towards Roboco but it melts around Roboco as she begins to hover. "Iris, send me seven hand replacements." Roboco says, "Seven? You don't even need one yet, and seven is uneven, wouldn't you need eight?" Iris asks, "just send them, I have an idea that needs trying.". Nearby Fauna flies and hears seven loud bangs from the sky as she approaches the glassy Sahara, "Good, looks like we're both ready for what happens next..." Fauna says to herself as she closes in to land.

Roboco perks up as she hears the sound of Mach speed closing in on her and she dashes to the left, narrowly avoiding the object. She looks over to the steam rising from the molten glass and Fauna blasts the steam out of her vicinity, staring down Roboco. "Tell me something machine. Has this fight and how far you've come made you think of yourself higher than how you might've thought before?" Fauna asks, Roboco eases, "If you're asking if I feel stronger than you are or if I feel like a 'hero', then I'll have to say no, not at all" Roboco says, "But... in this fight I've had a couple questions answered, such as, 'Is there truly a god?', 'how different is he or she to someone like myself or humanity as a whole?', and 'Can I make a difference?'.", Roboco explains. "And what did you come to find?" Fauna asks, Roboco extends her arms and looks at them, "I found, that there is not one but an entire universe of gods, that you gods are more egotistical, more ruthless, more judgmental, more controlling, and far more lousy than we are, and finally that I can prove the good in humanity. Behind every war, every leader, every soldier, is a driving power to bring the absolute best to their people and their country. Behind every thief who robs a nation, every gangster who kills for drugs, every fighter in a Ring, every golfer on a field, every pilot in a plane, every fisherman on a boat, every man in an office, are all driven by one factor, one goal, one idea, they work to succeed and survive!!" Roboco speaks, "aren't I right, humanity!? Aren't we just some unguided but also misunderstood creatures!? Are we not fighting, working, and playing to succeed in this life!? HUH!?" Roboco shouts lifting her fists into the air.
Back in the arena, polka is silent as the audience mutters amongst themselves, one man stands wearing a camouflage shirt and cargo pants, "Yeah!! While I myself yearn going through war and taking the love of likeminded men, we fight to bring out country and it's people forward, so that our children may have a happy life!" He shouts, a woman across the arena stands as well, "We police officers place our lives on the line so that we may keep our community safe! And while some may be misguided egotists, it doesn't overshadow the work that the right put in!!" She shouts. one after another, men and women stand shouting their ideals to the arena, "I rob a bank to provide money for my family, I do NOT even load my gun!" One man shouts, "Ye-Ah!! My band plays music to please the people who may have nowhere else to turn for comfort or relation!!" Another shouts, "I just work at the thrift store part time man..." another says softly. The entire arena is alive and the gods watch in awe as other human side spectators watch in anticipation.
Back in the grassland Roboco smacks her hand on her chest and clenches her fist, "I LIVED AND DIED FOR MY COUNTRY'S SUCCESS!!" She shouts as an object crashes near her, "I PUT MYSELF ON THAT BATTLEFIELD!!" She shouts again as another object crashes followed by another, "AND I WOULD DO IT ANOTHER FIFTEEN TIMES OVER!!" As the crashing sound of another 3 objects crash by. Fauna stares in surprise as the final object crashes directly behind Roboco, "so again, I am not a hero, and I am no god, I'm just another person, fighting for my peoples success!!" Roboco shouts as the seven objects begin to levitate revealing themselves to be hands, all linked together by a feint circle of electricity.
