Bonus chapter, the recruitment of humanity part 2: Inugami Korone

Still with multicolored eyes, Mumei Flies over the ocean and on the horizon sees her destination,

Osaka, Japan.
It's a rainy night and Mumei searches the area. "This is where I had seen a bright light, which means the person I'm looking for should be around here..." she says to herself. God of Human spirit ability, seek. The ability darkens her vision but gives every single human being a small light that she can see from anywhere, the brighter lights she sees are humans of interest, if they are simply severely stronger than most, severely smarter than most, or have a sort of ability, they'll glow a brighter light which Mumei will follow. "Okay.. this seems to be it.. a bakery? I guess I'll just enter." She says to herself before her eyes return to their usual orange shade.

She opens the glass door to the bakery and immediately her nose is tempted by the sweet aroma of pastries. The bakery is mostly empty as the rainy, late, and cold night hasn't invited much people outside. Only two of the seventeen tables are occupied, Mumei looks around at the customers. "...none of them look too promising..." she thinks to herself as she takes a seat. She covers her right eye with hair inconspicuously and activates seek in that eye. "...the lights gone..?" She looks around until a voice from her left startles her "excuse me~" she quickly turns to see, while uncovering her eye and deactivating seek. "Ah, sorry I was daydreaming haha~" Mumei apologizes nervously, "well I apologize for interrupting that, my name is Inugami Korone, and i own this bakery, did you want to order something, or are you here for pick up?" Korone asks. On her head is a visor cap, She wears a yellow buttoned no sleeve crop top matching with yellow shorts, she also dawns a waistline apron over her shorts. Her legs are covered only by red socks which one reaches her thigh while the other only reaches her knee, her shoes are blue and have roller-skates attached. "...can't be this girl..." Mumei thinks to herself before replying, "No I'm just here to meet with someone I believe they're in the bathroom right now." She laughs nervously. "I see, then I'll leave you to it, enjoy your stay~" Korone says before turning around and preparing to head back to the kitchen, however on her way a customer on a nearby table knocks over a glass of milk off the table. "Oh no!" They exclaim. Just then, Korone slides her legs apart to lower her body and catches the glass, moving it to catch the milk that fell out of it as well before it hits the ground. She quickly spins back to a standing position and hands it back to the customer, as everyone in the bakery claps in admiration. "...Woah, that was smooth...! Could she be..?" Mumei thinks as she reinstates seek. Korone glows a bright glow as she smiles taking a bow to the customers as she begins to roll backward and into the kitchen. Just then Mumei's eye begins to glow blue with sort of scope looking markings twirling. in her vision, next to Korone's light she's able to see every detail about Korone, to her blood type, hair length, to even people she's affiliated with. "...she's an underground boxer? With a smooth reputation too, it seems like she's the one to bet on... woah she's even had ties to the yakuza? Only defeated by one... Kiryu Coco..." Mumei continues to analyze, "I should go recruit her too.. but for now.". Mumei stands from her seat and reads a sign on the door saying the bakery will close in an hour, in the window she sees a van that opens its door and seven guys come out of it with a multitude of melee weapons. "That doesn't look normal.. I'll break a window, that'll get Korone's attention ahead of those men getting here" just then Mumei sneaks a fast punch at the window near her which shatters and she acts surprised, the other customers also shriek as the glass rains go the floor. And from the kitchen Korone emerges, a little less than amused. "...it worked, Now let's see what she's made of...".

"Who the hell're you guys?" Korone asks, she looks at the silent men's suits which have a brooch on the collars, "Umi alliance nobodies, huh? I'm not even affiliated with the Kiryu clan, much less the Kageyama family anymore, get bent!" She shouts at the men who continue to approach. "Tch, so it's gonna be like that, huh? I hope you're here on orders, if it just happens that you chumps attacked a civi instead of being ordered to that'd be real disappointing!" Korone says as she throws off her Visor-cap and prepares to attack. The men continue to approach. "So be it!" Korone shouts as she kicks off the ground and begins to dash forward still in her skates. As she approaches, one of the men takes a baseball bat and swings it at Korone, Korone is easily able to change her trajectory and twirls around the man digging her elbow into his kidney, effectively knocking him out, "one." she takes his bat and still with momentum sending her to another man, she slams the bat into his face, shattering the bat and knocking him out as well "two.". Her momentum continues to build as she ducks beneath a katana swing, and while she's lower she spreads her legs to get even lower and sweeps her legs, tripping two men, after that she gets to a standing position and stomps on both of their faces. "Three and four." She dances around and grabs the katana that fell out of one of the men's hands and prepares to attack another, however the man moves and two needles from a taser shot hurl at Korone. She quickly drops to the ground landing on her back and tosses the katana to her now facing upward feet, which twirls on the wheel of her roller skate, the she kicks her leg which sends it flying at the man who just shot the taser, it pierces his stomach and he falls to the ground. "Five". the other man from earlier who dodged the taser shot returns with a kick to the still on the floor Korone, but she quickly puts up a guard before the kick, and she slides backward smoothly as her body begins to ever so slightly levitate above the ground, she spins around with her knees tucked to her chest and springs up, the levitation ceases "not bad, I almost felt that!" She shouts as she begins to charge at the man who just kicked her. The man clashes his fists together and a spark illuminates his stance that he takes. "Knuckleduster, huh? How old fashioned!" Korone shouts as she weaves between the man's punches, and returns with an uppercut, knocking him out as well. "Six, now then you're the La-" a bang cuts her off when her cheek is grazed a window shatters down the road. "...a gun..!"  Mumei thinks to herself as she prepares to spring into action on the unsuspecting gunman, but in a flash, Korone zooms forward with a punch to his face sending him back a few feet, and she catches the gun to ensure it doesn't fire off landing on the ground. "Phew... you made me use all the energy I had stored up" Korone says to the knocked out man, "well then, that's seven." Mumei runs over to Korone, "that was amazing! I really have to talk to you about something, I swear it'll be quick." Mumei says to Korone, "out with it, sorry if im a bit snappy by the way, I kind of just got attacked by the yakuza and they ruined my bakery window" Korone says snarlingly.

Mumei proceeds to explain the entire situation to her, about herself being a god, and the tournament that's soon to come. "Normally, I'd say what god wants goes. But now there's more than one god and they have conflicts with each other no different than the humans they despise... but I'm sure there's going to be a strong fighter for me right? I can't pass that up, besides if we're all going to die I'll regret even in the eternal void that I denied the single greatest fight I'd ever have! So count me in your little tournament" Korone says with a smile. "Thank you, this really will be the hardest fights you face for humanity, im glad you're stepping up to the challenge, and I'm certain you'll beat whoever you fight within an inch of their life! Oh sorry I could get a little excited over things like this~" Mumei laughs nervously embarrassed. "Don't worry about it, I'll be sure to do exactly as you said!" Korone slams her fist into her palm, "you got me, so go get whichever other fighters you'll get, also don't be surprised if I try to spar against them, good luck" she says. "I'll be sure to let them know, thank you again!" Mumei waves behind her toward Korone as she takes flight, reactivating seek and soaring away. "I wonder how Amelia is doing.. how far back in history is she gonna go?"
