Why me? (Stranger Things// Henry Creel)

Chapter Four

"Will! Y/n! Wake up it's time for school!" Joyce yells.
"Where are they?" Joyce asks Jonathan, who is making breakfast.
"I don't know. I haven't seen them since yesterday morning." Jonathan responds.
"Wait you worked yesterday? I thought I told you not to work at the same time I did, Jonathan!" Joyce says.
"I'm sorry, mom. I just thought we could use the money." Jonathan responds.
"Let me ask Mrs. Wheeler, maybe she knows where they are." Joyce says.
Just as she was about to call the Wheelers, Y/n barges in.
Dirt all over her pants, her eyes having bags under eyes, just looking awfully exhausted.
"He's gone." is all Y/n can choke out between her tears.
"What do you mean?" Joyce says desperately.
Y/n couldn't even say anything as she was busy crying her eyes out.

"Y/n where's Will?" Jonathan asks with his eyes starting to water.

Y/n explained everything.

Y/n showered, ate breakfast, and got her stuff.

While Y/n went to school, Joyce went to the police station while Jonathan tried to find Will.

"Hey, Y/n, where's Will?" Lucas asked as Y/n sat at her desk.
No answer, just quiet sobs.
"Y/n?... Is everything okay?" Mike asked as he walked to her.
"He's gone." Y/n replied quietly.

Y/n explained everything from the night before.

"Let's go!" Mike said as they rode their bikes.
Lucas, Mike, Dustin, and Y/n went out to find Will.
"Shut up! No one should know that we're out here! You know, what the Chief told us!" Lucas explained.
"Guys, I don't think we should be out here. It's about to start raining. I don't want to go missing either." Dustin said.
"Are you serious, Dustin? My brother is out there missing and I don't care if I do too! We have to find Will. I don't care if I die doing it." Y/n said.
As they got off their bikes, Y/n fell to the ground.
"Y/n, you ok?" Mike said as he helped her up.
"Yeah, I'm fine. My head is spinning. I don't know why." She responded.
"Ok. We won't take long. We'll be fine. Once we find Will, we'll go home and play more D&D." Mike said as he gave you a flashlight.
They all entered the forest, screaming Will's name over and over again.
*Snap*
A twig.
It wasn't them.
Someone else.
Someone that Y/n knew was there.
Why she fell off her bike.
They turned around and saw a girl.
In a big yellow t-shirt and a buzzed haircut.
Y/n fell to the ground, afraid.
Her mind racing.
"Eleven?"
Y/n said panting.
The girl said nothing, she's confused.

But her face turned from confused to as if she recognized her...
