It was late January and it seemed that spring was eager to come early. Small blossoms fell down from the trees above, sometimes falling onto Meg's face, only to be brushed away by the back of her hand. She lay in the shadows of a large beech tree by the edge of the Black Lake, beside Remus Lupin. She blew pieces of her hair out of her eyes as the wind lifted them.

"Want some help, love?" Remus put down his book and started playing with her strays hairs.

"Thanks, Remus." She said getting up and walking over to James and Sirius.

"What're you doing?"

"What do you think?" Sirius had made a large mass of water levitate dangerously above Meg's head. "I swear to Merlin, Sirius Orion Black." She breathed, "I will literally kill you."

At that moment, the water, like a bubble, popped above her head, completely drenching her.

"Shit."

Sirius dropped his wand and started to run.

"GET BACK HERE." She screamed as she ran after him.

Several minutes later, Megara Black was practically trying to drown her brother in the lake.

"Please-Meg-I'm-Sorry." He gasped after each dunk of his head into the icy water.

"I don't think sorry's gonna cut it, Siri." Finally she retired from trying to drown her brother and went back to the shade of the beech tree, where she muttered something, instantly turning herself dry. Sirius stood up to his full height, water dripping down his face. "Scourgify." James pointed his wand at Sirius, chuckling. "Why do I have the most violent sister in the world?"

"And the hottest." James coughed. Sirius narrowed his eyes at him, "Don't touch her," He glared at him, "And anyways, you're betraying Lily."

"Lily's always plays hard to get." He sighed, sitting at the edge of the lake, staring at his reflection. "Don't worry, mate, she'll come around." Sirius smiled, patting his best friend on the shoulder, "But in the meantime, don't you dare lay even a finger on Meg." The two laughed heartily as they watched a certain red head bobbing up and down through the trees on the other side of the lake...

"Y'know, Lily, I don't know why you don't just go out James, he's nice."

Meg and Lily were going through books in the library, trying to find things to help them with their OWLs. Lily shrugged, skimming the blurb of Potion Expert Essentials, "He put you up to this, didn't he?"

"Nope, just wondering, but he's definitely there in the looks department." Meg smirked at her, poking her head above Transfiguration, Back to Basics. Lily's cheeks went pink and glared at Meg's slyness. "Fine, Fine, he is good looking, but what about you and Remus, you two seem joined at he hip." She wiggled her eyebrows at her mockingly.

"Me and Remus?" Meg said, undoing her top button and pulling at her tie, "There's nothing going on, Lily, you must be dreaming." She felt heat rising in her cheeks. "Sure." Lily rolled her eyes.

"Hello, ladies." Sirius said, pulling up a chair and sitting on it with the back of the chair to the table. Suddenly, James appeared and flashed a smile at Lily, grabbing her hand with the intentions of kissing it. "In your dreams, Potter." She said, pulling her hand away and continued making notes. James, looking crestfallen pulled up a chair and sat down.

"So, what's up?" Meg asked, "You never go into the Library, if you have a choice."

"To see my dear sister, of course," Sirius lied, throwing his head back dramatically, "We're trying to find a girl." Meg's eyed him suspiciously, "What kind of girl?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The girl of my dreams." Sirius said, hoping she'd congratulate her.

"The girl of your dreams. I'm going to call you Sirius the Delirious from now on, what've you been smoking lately?" Meg scoffed, "You've got no 'Girl of your dreams', you've snogged the face off of too many girls to call anyone your 'dream girl'."

"Well actually she's right over there." He nodded his head to a girl, alone at one of the tables, pouring over a book, "Laurel Emerson." He smiled proudly at himself.

"Laurie??!?!?!" Meg was close to screaming, "You think that Laurie would go out with you?? She's got standards, my dear brother. Standards you would never meet." Lily was hugging her knees, trying to control the stich she had gotten from laughing so much. Sirius looked longingly at the girl. She had beautiful, shimmering brown skin and wavy, long, chocolate-brown hair. He sighed, "One day, one day you'll see." And with, that him and James left, who blew a kiss to his dear Lily before running after his best friend.

"He's got his head in the clouds," Meg chuckled to herself, "Hey, Laurie, want to join us?" She waved to Sirius's 'Dream Girl' to come over. She took a seat at his previous seat and placed her books on the table. "I heard you lot say my name earlier." She said, "What's happened?" Lily and Meg started to laugh.

"You don't want to know."

James, Remus, Sirius and Peter sat in the common room, talking rubbish and girls,

"I don't know why she doubts me, James." Sirius sighed, sprawling in front of the fireplace, resting his head on his hands. "Many reasons, Siri, many reasons." James said, barely listening, his glasses askew as he lay his head on Remus' knee. Remus wasn't listening, he was skimming the Daily Prophet, the front cover reading Dark Lord kills more Muggles in his rise to power.

"Remusssssssssssssss," James whispered.

"James, how much Firewhisky did you get from that 7th year?"

James smiled and felt extremely giddy suddenly, "Oh Moony, you know, not much," He smiled smugly, "Oh I saw you look at Meg todayyyyyyyyyyy. You looked in loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."

Peter started to choke on his sweets as he laughed at James's drunk crap. Sirius sat up and looked to his friend,

"Remus." He smirked, "Elaborate."
