[A/N] Basically, thought it might be fun to step a bit away from our lovely Meg and Remus and dive a bit into Laurie and Sirius's relationship. I hope you all like it! ~D ❤

The students all marveled around at the city surrounding them. The witches and wizards taking muggle studies, during their sixth year, would take a visit to London as part of their preparations for NEWTs. Meg, Sirius, Laurie and Lily stood huddled together, Sirius and Meg looking extremely confused. Lily quickly linked arms with Meg, the two sending a smirk to the others,

"You two have a wonderful time-" Lily winked, a twinkle in her eye.

"-And please keep the lovering to a minimum." Meg eyed the them knowingly, "Alright, we'll see you two in a couple of hours, bye!"

And with that the two had disappeared into a small coffee shop down the road.

"Lovering?" Sirius said aloud, "She's never said that before." Laurie laughed, "Shall we do... something?" He nodded, "What did you have in mind?"

The two walked past the coffee shop that Meg and Lily had just entered, fighting the urge to peer through the steamy glass in case Meg or Lily were watching. A cold breeze whipped past there legs, causing Sirius to pull Laurie closer to him. She didn't look up, however, but linked arms with him, continuing to walk down the road. Sirius gave a small, satisfied smile, not looking down to her.

Sirius wasn't particularly familiar with Muggle London, he'd only ever gone out into it with Meg for a laugh or to escape their parents, it would've been easy for them to find their children at Diagon Alley as it was more familiar. It was either dark or the two were seriously (joke not intended) drunk when the two were out, so Sirius's memories of London weren't very clear.

However, Laurie was a half-blood, her father being muggle. So every weekend, before she left for Hogwarts, would be spent travelling, whether it be by car or by train. Laurie missed it dearly, but grew to love Hogwarts just as much. But, naturally, Laurie led Sirius around, dragging him into book shops, explaining London Bridge to him, pointing out the looming Buckingham Palace.

Sirius seemed quite fascinated for once, he never quite paid any attention during class. Him and Meg only chose it so as to irritate their parents. But only now did he really think it was worth it. After all, muggles didn't quite peak many interests within the wizarding world.

Sirius looked up at Big Ben, his eyes full of wonder at how muggles could've made such a tall building without magic. He felt someone grip his hand and pull him aside, a horn blaring to his left. He blinked stupidly,

"What happened?" He asked Laurie, fingers still interlocked.

One of her hands were over her heart, her chest heaving up and down, "You were in the middle of the road, Sirius, you could've been run over!" She breathed heavily. Sirius's head turned to the truck speeding away, the driver's curses getting quieter and quieter.

"Middle of the road?" He asked, "Why are they standing there then?" He pointed to the tourists standing on the pavement beside them, staring up at the monument with awe. Laurie chuckled to herself, "They aren't standing in the road, idiot, that's the road, that's the pavement, you only stand on the pavement, get it?"

He nodded slowly, a rain droplet landing on his nose. She rubbed it off with the back of her hand, making eye contact with him for a moment until the water came gushing down. Laurie dug a hand through her bag and pulled out a small umbrella, opening it over them. Sirius took it out of her hand, holding it high above their heads.

"Come on," Laurie said quickly, "It's getting late, we should probably go find Meg and Lily." He nodded reluctantly, following her lead as they walked across a crossing and took a right.

The rain was getting quite heavy now and Sirius was worried this muggle contraption he held above their heads was about to combust with the amount of force the rain was pelting down at. Laurie was getting quite worried as well so the two took shelter in a small, quaint record shop.

The shop had a strong, damp smell, enhancing the scent of moth-balls that filled the place. However, the room was full of old, muggle records and magazines. Sirius was immediately was entranced by his surrounding, he may ignore lots in Muggle Studies but he considered himself quite well educated n the fields of muggle music. Specifically Queen and the Beatles, to which him, James, Peter and Remus would always sing to in their dorm.

A shuffling behind the counter startled Laurie who stumbled backwards into him. Sirius caught her and followed her gaze, but nothing happened. There was only the scratching of a radio signal and a song getting louder and louder. Sirius smiled to himself, recognizing the song that he loved most, 'Good old-fashioned lover boy'.

"Care to dance?" He asked Laurie, who gave him a confused expression.

"In a shop?" She asked asked him. He nodded, resulting in her chuckling, "Sure, why not?"

Sirius looked quite pleased with himself as he twirled her around, catching her before she crashed into a shelf of records.

Behind the counter, crouched so as not to be seen, were Lily and Meg. Their knees hugged to their chests, hushing each other and suppressing the urge to pop their heads over the counter and watch from  a better angle. But they watched from a gaping crack, hoping that it would rain on and on, just so they could watch the two twirl gleefully.

Suddenly, Laurie crashed into Sirius's chest clumsily. He held her close, looking deep into each others eyes. She felt her eyes flicker to his lips, trying to ignore the fact that he did the same for her. Maybe Sirius wasn't so bad after all, she thought to herself as their faces grew closer and closer until their lips touched. Meg's hand flew to Lily's mouth, holding in her urge to scream.

"Well at least we now know who Sirius's dream girl is." Lily smiled to herself.

"We sure do." Meg sighed happily as the couple swayed.
