Inari's POV
"That Mahito guy is trouble! Let's take him down!" I declared, striding over to Junpei. "But I..." He faltered, uncertain.
"No ifs, ands, or buts. I saved your life," I reminded him firmly. "So from now on, your life is in my hands. You'll listen to me, no matter what I say. Understand?" I demanded.
"I-- I understand!!" Junpei nodded in agreement. "Good," I affirmed, before leading the way upstairs where Itadori and Mahito were locked in combat.
As Mahito transformed his arm into a blade-tipped whip, Itadori skillfully evaded his attacks and countered, sending Mahito crashing through the window.
When Mahito turned his attention to us, I swiftly summoned a barrier of tree roots with my cursed energy, shielding us from his assault.
Undeterred, Mahito crafted a flexible spear-tipped rope with his other hand, aiming to ensnare Itadori. "You can't keep dodging forever!" Itadori taunted, engaging him in a heated struggle.
Seizing the opportunity, I lunged forward and delivered a punishing blow, sending Mahito crashing to the ground below.
"You won't get the chance to kill anyone today," I warned him icily. "I want to kill you bitch!!" Mahito retorted scornfulled and I scoffed. "Don't try, you'll get yourself killed in the process."
Meanwhile, Itadori utilized a smoke screen to his advantage, launching a surprise attack on Mahito. However, as the smoke cleared, Itadori's body was impaled by sharp spears.
"Is Itadori-Kun alright?!" Junpei's voice rang out anxiously from above. "I can't see...," I admitted, my heart sinking as the full extent of the situation became clear.
"Itadori-kun!" Junpei's exclamation of worry spurred him to rush back, but I intervened, halting him in his tracks. "Wait! Let's see what happens," I insisted, my curiosity overriding his impulse to act.
"What?!" Junpei shot back, clearly annoyed by my hesitation. "Just hold on," I urged, wanting to observe the unfolding events.
As Mahito initiated the cursed technique to swap with Sukuna, we were abruptly thrust into Sukuna's Domain.
Confusion washed over me as I found myself seated on Sukuna's lap, perched upon his throne. A blush tinged my cheeks as I processed the surreal situation.
'What in the actual K-Drama is this?!'
Inside the domain, it was just Sukuna, Mahito, and me. "Why... why am I here?" I stammered, my cheeks burning crimson, but Sukuna paid no heed to my embarrassment.
"Dare you touch my soul?" Sukuna's voice dripped with menace as he toyed with my hair. A shiver ran down my spine as his cold fingers traced teasingly along my neck.
'Damn it! I want to get out of here, right now!'
Acknowledging their shared derision towards Itadori, Sukuna granted Mahito a single indulgence before issuing a chilling warning.
With Mahito vanishing from the domain, I found myself alone with Sukuna, my heart pounding nervously as I sat stiffly on his lap.
Sukuna remained silent, his gaze piercing into mine with an intensity that sent a shiver down my spine. With a gulp, I mustered up the courage to speak, my voice trembling with nervousness.
"Um... I was in the middle of something... Could you... um... let me go?" I asked tentatively, hoping to break the uneasy silence.
"I like that Honeysuckle perfume of yours, so put that on tonight," Sukuna ordered, catching me off guard. My sweat dropped nervously.
