Sadako's POV
As the days turned into weeks, I continued to navigate this newfound distance in our relationship. I longed for the days when we were inseparable and shared everything.
I miss him-
'Fuck no!!' I was enjoying my life for the fullest with the concubines. "Wow! You're all so good at handicrafts." I said looking at their art no masterpieces.
In the days that followed, I continued to spend time with my newfound friends, finding solace and companionship in their company.
"If I was a boy I would've married you all." I winked.
"Mou..... Sadako-Sama you're such a flirt!" Ayano and the other girls squealed. "What does gender matter?!" Yurika scoffed. "Well.... Sukuna does... "I mumbled.
"Just give it up."
She was talking about me to just let Sukuna have it. "Maybe I should..... Meh! Who cares it's enough if I have my girls." I smirked.
"Kyaaaaaa!!!"
They hugged me. "I LOVE GIRLS!"
"If Sukuna gets a whiff of this, all of our heads will be off our bodies...." She said amused smoking her pipe and the girls pulled away from.
"Anyway that doesn't matter, did you find it?"I asked playing with Ayame who was sleeping on my lap. "The mole? Yeah a maid from the laundry department.... Did it for money."
I had asked Yurika to find out about who spread the rumours. Since the concubines are not allowed to go out it wouldn't be one of them, so it must've been the maids.
"Did you take care of it?" I asked and she smirked. "Who do you think I am?!" And with that I knew that all of them were dead! A few days passed and it had been over an year.
And the distance between me and Sukuna only widen. One day my frustration reached its peak and during the council meeting, I couldn't hold back my emotions any longer.
"If you want to wage war, then be it!"
Normal POV
In the grand estate, an air of tension hung heavy, with Sadako and Sukuna's strained relationship starting to affect everyone around them.
The once harmonious atmosphere now felt charged with silent resentment and unspoken emotions. Servants scurried around, attempting to maintain a facade of normalcy
While the servants struggling to navigate the palpable tension between their master and mistress. Whispers of concern spread through the halls as they noticed the growing distance between the two.
In the dining hall, mealtimes turned into a somber affair. Sadako and Sukuna would sit at opposite ends of the room, hardly sparing each other barely a glance.
Their silence was deafening, and the servants exchanged worried glances as they brought forth the dishes. They witnessed the two passing each other with determined avoidance.
It seemed as though they were both playing a dangerous game of who could ignore the other the longest. It was really a dumb idea from Sukuna of you ask me.
"No one can avoid me for too long. My own sister can last for 4 days most. Though I should praise him, it's been 90 days since we last spoke."
Just as Sadako thought Sukuna couldn't hold back anymore and decides to do something very different compared to other male lead does in all the stories.
Get drunk.
The moonlight cast a soft glow over the estate as the night grew deeper. Within the elegant halls of the mansion, Sukuna was seated in a lavish room.
