Sadako's POV
As the morning light filters through the windows, I wake up to my sister's gentle nudging. "No... leave me alone..." I whined turning away and my little sister jumped on me.
"Get up! It's your big day!!" Himawari cheered
"Ugh!! Fuc-!!" I stopped myself from cursing and groaned holding my stomach. Rubbing my eyes sleepily, I groggily sits up in bed.
"Come on, Sadako, you need to take a bath." Sakura says with a playful grin. "We have a busy day ahead, and you don't want to keep everyone waiting."
My eyes was only half open as I was half awake so I didn't think much if the bustling in my surrounding. As Himawari moves I slowly hop out of my bed.
"I'm up, I'm up." I said with a chuckle, heading towards the bathing area with my sister and some other maids.
As the water flows from the traditional wooden tub, I feel the soothing warmth enveloping my body, washing away the remnants of sleep.
"Haa.... This is life!!"
I take a moment to relish the simple pleasure of the morning bath, allowing myself and my body to fully wake up and embrace the day ahead.
As the maids help me with my bath, I sensed an unusual excitement in their demeanor. And the extra care they were taking on my body.
Like, waxing the hair off my body... We witches rarely grew any hair to be honest, massaging my shoulders, using perfumes oil to massage my body, and washing my hair carefully.
VERY CAREFULLY
'Why the fuck are there flower petals in the water?!'
The servants exchange knowing glances and seem to be hiding something, which stirs my curiosity. "Why is everyone acting so strange today?" I asked scowling.
Sakura shares a nervous smile and takes my hands in hers before ordering the maids to close the door. "Listen to me calmly... Well, there's something I need to tell you." She begins hesitantly.
Before she can continue, my mind starts racing with different possibilities. My heart beats faster, and starts to overthink the situation.
"Is the old man dead?!" I asked cheerfully. "Or is Himawari really sick?! Is something wrong?" I asked anxiously. Worrisome thoughts fill my mind, and I jumps to conclusions.
My sister quickly reassured me, "No, no, nothing has happened to Himawari. You saw her just now she's fine. It's just that... you're getting married to Sukuna tonight." She replied nervously.
My eyes widen in shock, and my heart skips a beat. I had not expected such a sudden announcement, and the news catches me off guard.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!!"
I get up covering myself in towel as I feel panicked and frustrated. "Married? Tonight?" I exclaimed my voice a bit louder than intended.
"Why didn't Sukuna inform me beforehand? This is such a big decision, why didn't anyone discuss it with me!" I demanded.
"I think he wanted to surprise you, to make it a special moment," Sakura tries to calm me down, understanding my concerns.
