Inari's POV
"Inari!! Sadako! Oi whatever you're called, wake up!!" I was abruptly jolted awake by a girl tapping my cheeks.
Blinking, I focused on the familiar face of Tsukumo, one of the special grade sorcerers like me, albeit notoriously lazy.
"Yuki....?" I mumbled groggily, rubbing my eyes as she chuckled.
"Woah!! I'm glad we don't need introductions!" she exclaimed, pulling me upright. Taking in my surroundings, I noted the debris and broken floors strewn around us.
"Let's go find the others," she suggested, assisting my small frame onto her shikigami.
We soared through the air towards where the other sorcerers were gathered, with Geto and Uraume standing alongside them.
"Hey, sleepyhead, you were out for quite a while there," Tsukumo remarked with a smirk, nodding towards Itadori.
"We need to act swiftly," Itadori declared, with only him and Choso remaining mobile. The sorceress informed the others that they needed to buy time for Itadori and Choso.
Dissatisfied with the idea of needing a messenger as a reason for keeping so many enemy sorcerers alive.
"Ice Formation: Icefall!" Uraume activated the technique once more, creating a cascade of ice that surrounded both curse users before splitting apart to freeze their adversaries.
The barrage of flying ice shards immobilized Yuji, Choso, and another blonde girl, threatening certain death as a second wave of sharpened icicles descended upon them from above.
"I'll be killed..." Itadori gasped in fear, his fate seemingly sealed.
However, just as all hope seemed lost, Tsukumo's a mysterious shikigami appeared, from which she and I leaped to swiftly shatter the ice.
"Inari...?" Itadori exclaimed in surprise as I landed beside him, breaking the icy prison in the process.
"Yuuji..." I murmured, noticing his exhausted and injured state, prompting me to scowl. "Leave the rest to me," I assured him, gently running my hand through his fluffy hair as he leaned against my legs.
"Long time no see... Geto." Yuki Tsukumo and I entered the battlefield, accompanied by her shikigami, ready to confront the looming threat.
"You can answer my question now... What type of woman do you like?" Tsukumo directed her inquiry at Geto, revisiting a question from years past, probing into his preferences.
"Yuki Tsukumo," he retorted, visibly annoyed. "It's fine if it's a boy too~~~" Tsukumo teased, sending a playful flying kiss in his direction.
Pseudo-Geto's gaze shifted towards me, and I met his eyes with a cold stare. "The one next to you...is very my type" he remarked and I shuddered.
"Do you still remember... the method to make Cursed Spirits disappear?" Pseudo-Geto and Yuki Tsukumo engaged in a heated debate over the role cursed energy would play in humanity's evolution.
"No matter what methods are used, humans will advance to a higher stage," Pseudo-Geto asserted confidently.
Having already extracted Mahito's innate technique, Pseudo-Geto prepared to activate it, a sinister glint in his eyes.
"Yuuji... what happened to Mahito..." I interjected urgently, sensing the ominous intentions of the curse user,
"He just swallowed him," Yuji revealed, dropping a bombshell that left Yuki visibly dismayed. "Seriously?" she exclaimed, her disbelief mirroring my own.
