I rush into the arms of my mom and my grandma and hug them so tightly against me.
"I missed you guys so much," I say as we reunite.
They help me get my bags into the house and we all retreat into the kitchen for something to drink and eat. I have been driving all through the night and day and I am exhausted and starving.
We all make conversation but I have to excuse myself to go upstairs and go to sleep after a while. I can't help but just think of how empty my room is and how much everything reminds me of Alex.
I miss him so much.

I stretch my arms over my head and let out a really long and exaggerated yawn. I get out of my bed and quickly change into a new change of clothing. I pull out a pair of light high waist-ed denim shorts and a crotchet crop top.
While living in Seattle, a lot of things have changed. I have met new friends who have really helped me get a better grasp on myself. Ashley and Jesse. Those two girls have become two girls that I can confide and trust anything with.
They have taught me to not care about what other people think of me and have taught me to be comfortable with myself and my body.
A year ago, I would never be wearing a crop top or probably even these shorts. I've even started working out on the weekends to tone myself up.
I quickly make my way downstairs to join my family and realize that nobody is yet awake. I gather all the ingredients to make pancakes and begin making everybody coffee, pancakes, and bacon for when they wake up.
Just as I finish the first bit of pancakes, my grandma comes downstairs. I give her a big smile to return the smile she is giving me.
"Sit down Grandma, I'll bring you your coffee and pancakes," I tell her as I pull a chair out for her at the bar.
"You are such a lovely young lady," she says as she clasps her hands together.
I quickly put some pancakes and a little bacon on a plate and get her some coffee.
I quickly get back to making the rest of the pancakes while making small talk with my grandma.
My mom comes down not long after my grandma, and I do the same for her as I did my grandma. She gives me a big hug and a kiss on the head and begins to eat her breakfast. They both compliment me and I collect their dishes when they're done.
"Let's go shopping today," my mom calls from the living room with a cheery smile on her face.
"I'm down for that," I reply
"You too go and have fun but I'm going to stay here," my grandma says as she pats my back and begins putting dishes away.
"Are you sure?" I ask her, slightly concerned.
"You two go have a mother daughter shopping day, I'll be here when you get back.
We finish cleaning and putting away the dishes and we gather your things and get ready to leave for the day. I grab my purse with my money and me and my mom leave. We talk constantly on the way to the mall and catch each other up on the way. When we finally do get to the mall we go into every single store.
We laugh and shop and eat and drink. I couldn't be any happier than I am in this moment.

Happy Wednesday everybody :D
