Remembering Sunday

I reach my arms over my head, stretching out my body. Today was the day All Time Low is kicking off their first day of tour by playing a small venue right in Baltimore. I am going to be driving out to see them play, and then say goodbye to them before they travel the east coast for their very first tour. The guys are so happy to be touring, even if it means sleeping in the back of the van, and taking driving shifts.
We had finished off school just two days ago, and knowing that they are going to be gone for two months kills me. They're my best friends. I don't want to be alone this entire summer, and being alone while my parents are in the middle of a bad divorce doesn't make me feel at ease at all. But they have to pursue their dreams, and one of those dreams is to be able to tour around the world. Even though they are just starting out, this first year or two is going to be really crucial for them because this is when they will gain a big bulk of their fans, and how they are actually going to get their name out there.
I will just suck it up, and try to be even happier for them than I ever had been. Tonight I will be seeing them kick off their career, and then I will see them again before our thirteenth year of school begins, our senior year.

I throw on my Greenday tank top, and my jeans, and make my way into my car to head over to the venue. Before I know it Alex is knocking on my car window.
He opens the door quickly, and throws his things inside, and jumps in the passenger's side.
"Lets go," he quickly says.
"Why aren't you with the guys?" I ask him
"Well, I was running late, and they said if I wasn't outside in ten seconds they were leaving, and they left."
I laugh at him as we make our way to the venue. We laugh, and joke for the first couple minutes, and then we begin to get more serious about everything.
"You know Luna, I am really going to miss you while I'm on tour."
"I'm gonna miss you too, Alex," I say as we pull into the venue.
We jump out of the car, and he grabs all of his things, and we make our way over to the van. He quickly throws everything into the van, and we run into the venue. The guys quickly do a sound check with their temporary manager, Matt Flyzik. The guys have told me that Matt is super organized, and when they're late, he is not very happy.
Minutes pass by as the guys have to go out on stage, and I make my way out of their dressing room, and into the crowd to catch the full effect of it all. They come onto the stage, and the entire crowd begins to go pretty wild. The venue for the most part is pretty full. They begin the night with singing a song off their EP called Memories Fade Like Photographs, and then they make their way to The Last Flight. They play the rest of their songs off the EP, and then they have about five minutes left. They do one of their favorite covers from when they did back when they did some clubs.
They finish off their set, and the crowd is exceedingly happy with them. I have to make my way backstage to the guys, and wait for them to go back into the dressing room. They all come piling in with huge smiles on their faces. They all start jumping around in excitement, and happiness. After just a little while we quickly sneak out the back of the room to the van, and my car.
"I am going to miss you so much," Rian says pulling me into a hug, and kissing my forehead, "You keep yourself safe, and don't do anything stupid."
I quickly say goodbye to Jack, Matt, and Zach, and then it comes time for me to say goodbye to my best friend, Alex.
Alex pulls me into a huge hug, and we stand their for a little while, just hugging each other for what seems like an eternity. He quickly kisses my cheek, leaving his lips lingering their just a couple seconds longer than usual. We say goodbye, and I walk over to my car leaving me to drive home alone on this warm summer night in Baltimore.
It isn't going to be the same without seeing Alex everyday.

I make my way to the coffee shop as I take in the fresh scent of Towson, and the beauty of it. It may not be the biggest little suburban area, but it is pretty nice. I enter the shop, the fresh scent of coffee filling my nose, making me instantly feel happy. I order my coffee, and make my way over to the side of the bar to collect my coffee. When they hand me my coffee I quickly make my way out of the coffee shop.
Before I know it I am colliding with somebody, sending my coffee all over me.
"I am so sorry," a male says as my heart races really fast.
"I-its okay," I say as I quickly pick up my coffee cup, throwing it inside of the trash can.
"Again, I am really sorry, I owe you a coffee, why don't you stay around, I'll buy you another one now."
"I uh, that's okay, I should be heading home," I rush as I try to make my way home.
"At least give me your number so we can meet up, and I can buy you a coffee," he pleads as I nod my head, and giving him my number.
We say our goodbyes, and I make my way home again. He was kind of cute, and he was nice enough to offer me a coffee. I shake myself out of those thoughts, and remember the guys who had left just two weeks ago. I sigh at how much I miss being around them, and decide to call Alex.
I make my way into my bedroom, and pick up my phone. I dial Alex's number, and it goes straight to voicemail.
Either is phone is dead, or he is on the phone with somebody. I sigh, chucking my phone onto my bed. I lay down on my bed, and fall back into a blissful sleep of nothingness.
