TODAY was the day of the hawkins middle school snowball dance.

y/n didnt obviously have a date to the dance.

the others didn't either.

melissa didn't have a date to the dance, y/n didn't know why.

mike wanted to take eleven, but he didn't know if she would even show up.

will just didn't want to have a date in general.

dustin was going to look for a date at the dance after steve fixed him up.

and lucas wanted to ask max to dance.

y/n practices dancing for fun.

joyce watched with a smile as her two kids had fun, and were about to go to their first dance.

jonathan held up his camera and started recording.

"do you always have to be filming?" will asks jonathan.

"no, just the good stuff." jonathan replies with a smile.

"are you sure people dance like this?" will asks y/n as he twirled her.

"probably not, but, we'll see." y/n replies with a smile.

"we're probably going to get made fun of if we dance like this." will says as he laughs.

"oh, for sure." y/n replies.

karen wheeler kept taking pictures of mike for the snowball, while mike just wanted to leave and actually go to the dance.

"all right. that's enough." mike decides.

"one more, okay? just one more." karen tells him.

"why?" mike asks.

"you look so handsome." karen tells mike.

"mom!" mike protests.

"mike.." karen smiles, then takes another picture.

"so, who's the lucky boy, melissa?" melissa's mom asks with a smirk.

"i'd be surprised if anyone actually wants to take that little shit to the dance." angie insults.

"shut up angie." melissa shoots back.
