"Rose and Trevor spent the last 500 years running because you used them. Trevor just got killed."
"Never thought he would've lasted that long." Katherine says.
"You don't even care that you ruined their lives. About anyone's."
"I was looking out for myself, Ellie. I will always look out for myself. If you and Elena are smart, you'll both do the same." Said Katherine.
Back with Stefan and Caroline, they were at the Grill, and Caroline ate...
He signed, just wanting to check on Ellie.
"Sorry to drag you here, but if I don't eat, I get those kill-innocent-people urges. Tyler has those, too, by the way."

"Yeah, what else did you say to him?" He asked.
"Not much. I was trying to keep the questions to a minimum. Just that he still loved Ellie... are you mad?"
"Yes, Caroline. As a matter of fact, I am a little mad. You put yourself at risk. If Damon finds out..." He tells her.
"You're not gonna tell him, are you?"
"No. No, of course not. He would kill you." He said, signing loudly. "So he still loves Ellie?"
"I think he has heightened everything too. So, whatever he felt before is now... heightened."
"You don't exactly make it easy on me to keep an eye on you." He says.
"Then why do you do it? Why are you being a good friend to me?"
"Uh, I don't know. I guess you remind me of someone. My, uh, best friend, Lexi. And you're Ellie's best friend." He says.
"You have a friend?"
He chuckled. "You say that with such a discouraging amount of surprise, Caroline."
"No, I just... sorry, I just... tell me about her."
"I will, some other time. I gotta go." He says, smiling softly, looking at her.
"Wait, no. What do I do about Tyler? I don't want Damon to kill him because there is a full moon coming up... and Tyler's totally freaking out about it."
Bonnie entered the Grill, and she looked around for Jeremy...
"Hey, Bonnie."
"Hey. Luka. How was your first day?" She asked, looking over at him.
"It was great. I would like to introduce you to my dad."
"Hi, I'm Bonnie Bennett." She says, smiling and shaking Luka's father's hand.
"Dr. Martin. Jonas Marin. It's nice to meet you, Bonnie Bennett. Would you like to join us?"
"Oh, I'm meeting a friend. But he's not here yet, so sure." She smiled.
Jonas looked at his son, and he moved over.
"Oh, yes. Please have a seat." Luka smiled.
She takes a seat beside Luka.
"So, um, where'd you move from?" She asked.
"Louisiana."
"That's a big change." She says.
"I'll say." Luka says.
"It's not so bad here." She tells Luka.
"It's looking up." Said Luka.
"Bennett, huh? I knew some Bennetts when I did my residency in Massachusetts. Do you have some family from Salem?"
She frowned, and she smiled.
"Actually, I do." She says.
"What do you know? Small world, right?"
"Mm-hm." Luka says.
She looked around, and she saw Jeremy.
"Oh, there's my friend. It was nice to meet you, Dr. Martin." She smiled, standing up.
"I will see you at school." Luka says.
She placed her hand on Luka's shoulder, and she stared at him.
Jeremy and Bonnie walked away.
"Hey, sorry, I was late. You okay?" He asked.
"Yeah."
Back with Damon, Rose, and Slater...
"And you're sure Elijah's dead?"
Damon nodded. "Beyond dead."
"Trevor was a good man. Helped me with my dissertation on sexual deviance in the Baroque period. I was going for my psych Ph.D."
The three of them sat down at a table in front of a window.
"Slate's been in college since '74." Rose tells Damon.
"When I was turned, I have 18 degrees, three masters, and four Ph.D.s."
"The point?" Asked Damon.
"Exactly. I mean, what is the point? What should I be doing with my eternity? If you have an answer, please enlighten me."
"We need your help. If someone wanted to get in touch with Klaus, how'd you hook him up?" Rose asked.
