Caroline was walking down a hallway carrying a bin bag, and Matt saw her.
"Caroline."
She signed, dropping it on the floor and turning to face him.
"Why?"
"Why what?" She asked, staring at him.
"I kissed you."
"I know, I was there." She says.
"So why'd you run away?"

"You caught me off guard." She says.
"Yeah?"
"What did you expect me to do?" She asked him.
"Not that."
"I'm sorry." She said.
"And...?"
"And what? What do you want me to say, Matt?" She asked, laughing.
"Something. Anything. How-? How did you feel? Anything in the realm of truth right now would be nice."
"Okay. I feel... like I... I love you."

She nodded.
"Then what's the problem? What are you keeping from me, Car?"
She shakes her head.
"Look, if you love me, you'll tell me. So, what is it?"
"Hey, Matt, we need more burgers." A cheerleader says.
Matt turned around.
"Yeah, not now, Dana."
He turned back to find Caroline gone and the bin bag still there.
Back with Ellie, she was still in Stefan's room, and she sat on the floor, leaning against his drawers...
She hasn't heard anything for the past hour, so she gets up and moves the drawers from the bedroom door.
Her hands shake slightly, and they reach out to the lock on his door, and she twists it fast, unlocking the door and opening it.
She kept the stake close to her chest, and she slowly made her way downstairs.
She felt a cold breeze on her back, and she turned around, finding the front door open. Damon sped in, and he stood in front of her.
Elena came in, and Ellie signed happily.
"You okay? Where's Rose?" He asked.
"You know what? You can take over babysitting. I'm done." Ellie says, placing the stake against Damon's chest and walking out of the house.
"What happened?" Elena asked, looking over at Damon.
With Rose, she arrived at the school; she leaned against some bins, and she vomits...
"Excuse me. Are you okay?"
She looked at him, and she bit into his neck.
Later, police found the body, and Liz walked over to Damon...
"Hi." He says.
"Thanks for coming so quickly."
"No. I was close by. What happened?" He asked her.
"A vampire. Luckily, one of my deputies discovered the body before anyone else saw him."
"We have to secure the area, then." He tells her.
"Don't cause a panic, but move this party into the cafeteria." She tells her deputies.
They nodded.
"I'll take the east side. You go west?" She asked.
"Sure. Okay."
With Ellie, she sat in her car outside her house, and she pulled out her phone...
Ellie: "Hey, Stefan, it's me. I don't know where you are... I really needed you tonight. Damon had me babysit Rose... and she was in pretty bad shape. She tried to kill me. I locked myself in your room, so some of your furniture has been moved around."
