Back with Caroline and Matt, Tyler was still growling at them in his wolf form...
Caroline was still holding the gate closed.
"Caroline, let me help." He says.
"Get back; I got it." She says.
Tyler tried to bust through the gate by ramming his head into it.
"Caroline, the gate's not gonna hold. The bars!" He shouted.
"Tyler, please." She says.
Matt gets a clear shot, and he fires it into Tyler.
"Matt. No. Hey, no. It's Tyler." She tells him.
"He's trying to kill us." He says.
"Wait. He's wounded." She says, beginning to open the gate.
"Are you nuts?" He asked.
"You're not gonna shoot him again. Matt, take my hand." She tells him.
"I got it." He said, pointing the rifle out in front of him.
"Matt, take my hand." She says.
He removed the rifle, putting it over his shoulder, and took her hand, and she sped them out of there.
Later, with Katherine and Damon, he had removed his jacket, and they saw the werewolf bite...
"That's what a werewolf bite looks like."

"Yep." He says.
"It's not that bad."
"Will be." He says.
"So that's it? You're just gonna die?"
"That depends. You know anything about a cure? Yeah, me either." He said, putting on his jacket.
"One hundred and 45 years and no last goodbye?"
"You don't get a goodbye." He said, turning to leave.
She sped up and stood in front of him.
"Don't... don't leave mad."
"Us ending up on good terms is not exactly on my bucket list, Katharine." He says.
"Klaus made me call Jenna to lure her out. There was nothing I could do. I didn't have a choice."
"That's why I gave you the vervain. So, you had a choice." He tells her.
"It was her or me. I chose her."
"I helped you. You owe me. When Klaus dies, you're gonna walk out without a scratch. Ellie and Elena's aunt dies. Somehow, you're the only one that wins. How'd that happen?" He asked, staring at her.
