Demi

"You almost ready, Angel?" I glanced at Jesse over my shoulder as he stood in the doorway to our closet.

"Yeah, how do I look?" I questioned, smoothing out the material of my satin blue dress.

"You look beautiful" I bit down on my lip as he stepped up to me. "And so does bump" he slid his hand along my belly.

"I can't believe she's going to be here soon" I smiled up at him as he leant down to kiss me. I slid my hand along his cheek and then pulled away. "Can you help with my necklace?" Jesse nodded as I grabbed my necklace off my vanity. I moved my hair off my neck so he could fasten the necklace. My spine tingled as he softly traced my neck with his fingertips and then leant to softly kiss my sweet spot. "I love you" I stated as he slid his arms around me, his hands pressing to my bump where baby girl was softly kicking.

"I love you both" he pressed a kiss to my cheek and then pulled away, taking a quick glance at his watch. "We've got to go, Baby, otherwise we'll lose the reservation" we stood in silence for a moment longer, silently admiring the way our little baby kicked and nudged at my belly.

We eventually pulled ourselves away from each other and headed off to our reservation. It's our 2nd anniversary and Jesse has planned everything. It wasn't until we pulled into the parking lot that I realised he'd got us a table at his new restaurant in Malibu. After the success of his restaurant in San Diego, he plans to open more along the west coast. His next stop is San Francisco.

"The perks of owning your own restaurant, huh?" I commented with a light smirk as Jesse helped me from the car.

"It definitely comes in handy" I softly laughed as he pressed a light kiss to my cheek, his hand brushing along my bump. "Come on, Ryan's on tonight and if we're late, we will lose the reservation" Jesse joked, his hand on my back as we headed into the restaurant that was bustling with energy.

"I'm so proud of you" I smiled up at Jesse. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and leant to peck my lips.

"Hey, Boss" Jesse pulled away from me but kept his arm around my shoulders.

"Hi Ryan."

"The tables ready for you" Jesse gave him a nod and then began to tug me away from the busy restaurant.

"Hey, where we going?" he didn't reply, just continued down a corridor. "Jesse?" he came to a stop at a glass door and turned to me with a playful smirk on his face.

"You are so impatient, Baby" he laughed as I rolled my eyes. "Anyway, happy anniversary" he pushed open the door and signalled for me to step inside first. My jaw dropped at the beauty of the room. There was a table set up in the centre of the candle-lit room and rose petals were scattered along the floor. On the wall furthest away was a bunch of photos of us together and it wasn't until I got closer to them that I realised something. I've never seen any of these before.

"Wait?" my heart skipped a beat in my chest when I realised something else. "You...Jesse?" tears began to blur my vision. In every single photo was a diamond ring. How did I not notice this? "Why is there a...?" my hand flew to cover my mouth as I turned around to find Jesse down on one knee.

"Everyday for the past year, I've taken a photo and as I'm sure you've noticed, there's something a little extra in them" I swallowed down the lump in my throat and wiped the tears from my cheeks. "Demi, the way our relationship started was definitely not the most conventional way, but that doesn't mean I didn't fall hard for you. You are everything I need. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life loving you, and our beautiful angel" my hand lightly caressed my belly. "I love you both with everything I have" I bit down on my lip, trying my hardest to hold back my tears. "Demi, will you marry me?" his lips twitched at the corner as he pulled a blue velvet box from the breast pocket of his jacket.

"Yes!" a wide smile spread across his face. "Yes, I'll fucking marry you" he laughed as he pushed himself to stand. I cupped his face in my hands and brought his lips down to meet mine. "I love you" it wasn't until he pulled away that I noticed his own tears lining his cheeks.

"Can I put it on?" I sniffled as I nodded, holding out my shaking hand for him. My mouth dropped at the ring he slid onto my finger. "Don't ask any questions because I won't answer them" I glanced up to meet his playful smirk.

"It's beautiful" his smile widened as he cupped my chin in his hand and he leant down to kiss me again.

"I love you" we silently smiled at each other until my eyes fell back down to the glistening ring on my finger.

"Did you pick this out yourself?" Jesse pressed a soft kiss to my temple as he slid his hand along my bump.

"Jordan helped a little" I rolled my eyes as he laughed, flashing me a light smile. "So, when do you want to get married?" I laughed at his excitement. There was a sparkle in his eye that I see every time he speaks to my belly.

"Can I have the baby first?" he caressed the side of my face. "I'd kind of like her to be involved. It'd be cute if she was our little flower girl, don't you think?" he nodded and leant in to press a light kiss to my lips. "Now, are we eating because me and baby are starving?" he laughed as he turned to the table and pulled out one of the chairs, signalling for me to sit down. "You're such a gentleman" I pressed a kiss to his cheek before I took a seat. Jesse sat down in the chair beside me, his hand moved to caress my thigh. "I love you so much."

"I love you too, Baby."

Our relationship definitely didn't start out in the most conventional way but it was an affair to remember.

The End.

So, a little extra for you all. Hope you enjoy 😊
