9: The vows

Eddy picked me up that early morning and we set to this small town which he didn't bother to tell me the name, on our way, I noticed that all the trees were naked, heavy winds slowly carried their leaves to the far end and the smell of pumpkin pies and goodies felled the air.

I how fast the time changed, it was just summer and now the orange colour was slowly spreading and how this year,I will be celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas with Ash only but it was fine with me, orange has always been the colour of autumn and this weather placed a smile on my face.

We pulled out in front of a double story house covered with orange leaves since it was autumn,a middle age man come out of the house and greeted us with a smile and took our bags, I noticed that this place was heavily guarded like a prison island but it didn't bother me much because the inside of the house was done to my teste, not to brag but the house was full of vintage households items, bright purple and scarlet were used as curtains and all type of wood and clay artifacts lied around, this house looked like the beast castle in beauty and the beast but more clean and no talking households items.

The butler whom I learnt his name was Alfred showed me to the Master bedroom and one thing that shocked me is that the room looked exactly like beauty's room but with no talking wardrobes, the sheets were silk black and dark purple curtains that covered the French windows, honestly I wonder if he stole the beauty and the beast castle set, I was snapped from my 'wow' land by Alfred " sir will be with you shortly little miss, he got an urgent call and told me to inform you that you are free to settle down" he said with his British accent, I smiled and nod then I decided to unpack my clothes in the process wondering why Ed had to leave for the urgent call without telling me.

I took a bath and dressed in an over sized purple shirt and decided to not wear any undies, I hopped in on the bed, chatted with Ash and tante then I read a couple of books on Wattpad and watched memes, a couple of anime and my story animated film on YouTube, then I heard the door open and in come Eddy, he apologized for being late and quickly took a shower.

After that he wore his sweat pants and remained shirtless, he hopped on the bed and quizzed himself in the blankets, I then spoke " Chérie, did you steal beast's castle design or did come up with the ideas by yourself" I grin as those phrases come out, " I see you love it, I'm happy, and for your question, here is the answer, I hired the designer who designed fake beast's castle and voila she made our castle real" he replied in a sarcastic tone as he gently stroked my curls.

We spoke about alot of things and he made me laugh, then his face darkens with seriousness and he said " ma chérie, i want to make a couple of vows to you", shocked I tried to say something but he stopped me and continued " I will be leaving soon but I want you to feel secured so here are my vows: I vow to love you no matter what, I vow to respect your body and decisions, I vow to protect you, I vow to listen to you and I vow to love you no matter what happens in our lives, know that I'm here always" and he stops, by now I had tears in my eyes and Ed sow them, he smiled and gave me a hug, I spoke up and said " Mon chat, I vow to never lie to you, to love you and keep you happy beyond my capabilities ", tears rolling down my face and Eddy's warm hug consoling me, it was the first time my Eddy spoke with more passion and more kindness.

That night I slept very peaceful, not because Ed was there with me but because I was sure that no matter what happens Ed and I will never be a separated for any reason but if only I knew, like autumn announces the coming of winter so that peace and joy announces the coming of chaos and sorrows, but I was too blind to see that, only the future was the story teller of my life...

Waking up to cockrow was not what I needed after the peaceful night I had but it all payed off because this time Ed was next to me, this action placed a smile on my face because for the first time in six years, every time I had a sleep over at Ed's or Ed had a sleep over at my house I saw him lying in bed next to me in the morning, he looked peaceful, like still water in the mountains.

I was so deeply focused on him that I didn't hear the knock on our bedroom door, being snapped out of my dreams,I quickly seat up straight and told however was at the door to come in, the door opened and a tray of food entered followed by Alfred, he greeted me with a smile and proceeded in opening the curtains, at that moment Eddy woke up and Alfred greeted him and he left the room like a good butler.

" Why did you let someone else do the cooking?" I asked as I pierced my eyes into those of Eddy, he smiled and said " bonjour ma chérie, bien dormir ?" He asked as he hopped on his feet making the whole bed shake including my body, he gave me a dirty smile and I swear if I was more light in complexion, tomato will be the word to describe me.

" je bien dormir" I replied, Eddy extended his hands to me and pulled me out of the bed, " come let have breakfast, I have dreams to tell" he said as we sat next to the window, it was difficult to have breakfast on the balcony because of the autumn winds so we decided to have it inside at least the beautiful Orange sun was out and warming up my body like I was some kind of meat on a barbecue grill, and for some reasons the breakfast that was served was barbecue sausages , waffles, black coffee with no sugar for Eddy and organic green tea for me, nothing fancy to start the day which.

After Eddy chowing and swallowed a couple of sausages,I guess all man loves meat, shout out to man who are vegetarians I'm proud of you all, I quickly snapped out of my lala support group land and focused on what Eddy was saying " you asked me a question and here is the answer, this is my house so I decide who should work or not, I have maids and everyone to my service so you will never work in any of my house unless I say so" he spoke like a true king I guess, I tried not to argue, so I gave him a smile, wait!!, What does he mean by ' any of my houses' I said to myself as Eddy walks to the bathroom, he also shouted that we were going somewhere so I should prepare, I wonder where?...
