7: Meet the Romanos

From the night of the twins' visit, things went pretty smoothly, Ash and I were done with our exams just in time for the graduation and the Romanos family dinner, which I didn't know I was invited to until I received a text from Mrs Renee, the days till the graduation felt like years and finally the day come when I, dressed in a lovely velvet dress attended my boyfriend's graduation.

I must say, this is not the first time I'm here in the Romano's house but every time I come, I feel strange, upon entering the dinning room, I see that big Daddy Romano is seated at the head of the table, followed by Mrs Renee at his right and Mrs Jasmine at his left, then comes the sons and their girlfriends at their rights, this was the order that must be followed every day and things quickly turns for a suprise, " well, well, well, am I glad that all my family come together" said big Daddy Romano as he looks at each of us a satisfactory smile.

To his dismay nobody gives an impression about what he just said, except Mrs Jasmine who seems to be following her husband like a lost puppy " oh yes,I can see that dear but let talk about the future if our sons" she says as she direct herself in Mrs Renee's direction, every body at the table knew what she wanted, after snatching away the twins' right of owning the family business, she took Mrs Renee's position as a wife too, she has no shame, but Mrs Renee seems happy about it, after all big Daddy Romano is an abuser,not that kind of abuser, he just doesn't care, so having Mrs Jasmine in her place really doesn't bother her, the only thing that bothers her it her son's, the twins, they have infinite hate for Mr Romano, Mrs Jasmine and Kevin.

Even though no one said a thing at the table, the tension was one to be cut with a knife, dinner was spoiled and I couldn't help but feel that Kevin's eyes were on me all the time and even worse Mrs Jasmine kept on taking non stop until Eddy snapped " would you be quite woman, we are trying to eat here!!!" He said as a slams his fist on the table, at the some time big daddy Romano gets all red "I see your mother didn't tell you how you should adress a woman" he said as he places his spoon on the table, without any time to spear, Cris speaks out " it not our fault she is a home wrecker and on top she brings an illegitimate son so that they can render you bankrupt" he said in a calm voice,this, their was an argument at the table, each person shouting at who ever they want, it got to a point where Mrs Jasmine started crying and just like that dinner was over.

As Mrs Renee walks me and Ash to our rooms, she apologize for her family behaviour and she tried to calm Ash and I as possible, we understood and kissed her good night and off we went to our rooms, upon entering my room, Eddy's voice instructed me to lock the door, " what are you doing here?, Do you want your mom to kill both of us, you know she doesn't want us to share a room" I said in a very low voice but to my surprise Ed laughed so hard and so loud that I swear the whole house heard, " you and I both know that there is no harm in me sharing a room nor a bed with you and beside the walls are sound proof" he says with a sly smile on his face, it didn't bother me and any ways I loved having my boyfriend next to me at night, before I could reply he spoke again" you know ma chérie, that day when I said I missed you, I meant it, I also meant what I said about punishing you" he said as he moved closer.
