28: Mrs Romano

I stood from the chair and walked to where Edward was, " I'm sorry sir, my wife and I had a fight and things turned ugly" Edward said as he placed his hands on my hip, this made detective Cain's face harden with jealousy, I smirked at him, he had his chance but I was not a homewrecker.

" Ahh!, Je voir, mariage is something, at my house if my wife and I fight, it cold dinner for me for a month, nights on the living room couch and no touch if you know what I mean" the middle aged man said and both him and Edward laughed, I can not believe it, I was listening to matured men talking about bedroom fun like it was candy from a store.

We arrived at the gate of the police station and three cars were waiting for me and Edward, we turned to the middle aged man and detective Cain and thanked them, " take care of Mrs Romano, don't let her go crazy again" the middle aged man said with a smile and just like that, I stepped out of the gate and in I was in the middle car.

I sat there quickly and I noticed that Cris was sitted opposite me, he had the same smirk his brother had, " finally, I can officially call you sister in law" he said as he stared at me, I smiled and looked outside, " did you prepare her documents?" Edward asked and Cris nodded, " we will be in Australia in about two hours" Cris said, " wait, what do you mean by ' we, and Australia'" I said looking surprised.

Both men looked at me and smirked and said nothing, I was sure that this global conspiracy was working in me, " enough with work brother, let ask my WIFE what happened today " Edward said as he looked at me then Cris then both me laughed as if they knew what I went through, then it hit me, " do both of you know who is Bluetooth?" I asked as I remembered Bluetooth face.

Edward and Cris looked at me both and nodded, that was easy to answer, I was about to ask another question when the car come to an halt and the door opened, a man in black stood there and he extended his hand to me, I took the hand and I was pulled out of the car, I then realised that I was at the airport and I was going to fly in jet, " don't get too excited, this is your life now MY WIFE" Edward lean next to my hear and whispered.

There were two Jets, and I saw Cris and Roberto Cavalli entering the one on the left, Edward took my hand and we walked to the jet on the right, I guess my life could not be that bad, at least that what I thought, two Jets for the twins, I guess money was not a problem for them.

As I got in, the air immediately changed, it was warm and I could smell Edward's Cologne, that sweet smell of pineapple and lime, apart from the air and cologne, the inside looked like a luxurious five star hotel penthouse, a mixture of gold and white leather couches, table, a small bar and even a mini library, this was a flying house.

I walked to one of the couches and I was about to sit when Edward said, " we are taking off in ten minutes, use this time to clean up yourself" as he pressed a button, at that second, a tall women, dressed in a gold and white pantsuit come in and smiled at me, then she gestured me to follow her, I hate you Edward, I followed the woman to a bathroom, this was an amazing jet, with bathrooms inside.

It took me a moment to put my mind together and listen to what the woman was saying, " it is an honour to meet you Mrs Romano. Sorry, let get to why I'm here for" she said, I nodded my head and smiled at her, I guess it time for me to get use to being called Mrs Romano, it not for long though, as soon as everything is okay in my life, I will break this marriage contract and live free.

The woman instructed me on what to do and where to find different items I needed and then she left, I quickly removed my clothes and hopped in the shower, the warm water slowly touched my skin and I was happy to shower, today was a long day, I was at places where I was not and will never be, taking a shower was a way of me removing everything I did not want, I also can not believe, I was going to jail be I was saved.

After that short shower, I promised myself, I will take a longer shower later now I have to sit before the take off, I quickly applied Edward's body cream, wore knee length blue dress I was given, applied Edward's Cologne and opened my hair and let it fall on my shoulder and I was ready.

I left the bathroom and walked to the lounge where Edward was sitted and ready for take off, I took the seat opposite him and I too was ready for take off.

When we reached the standard altitude, I unbuckle my seat belt and walked to where, the food was, Edward joined me at the food table and we each took a piece of French lasagna, we sat down and ate quietly until he spoke, " are you wearing my cologne?" He asked, I nodded at him and continued to eat, then he said again, " by the way, the pest that was bothering you at the office has been fired. I made sure she gets a maid's job and will not be allowed to have any other job then that" as he took a sip of his drink.

My stomach dropped and I knew who he was talking about, " did you have to do that!" I asked as I tried my best not to laugh at Sophia's current situation but at the same time, I felt sorry for her, Edward looked at me then he passed me a box, I took it and opened it and there was a ring, not a single design but a complicated design, it had a red diamond on top and circular three bands that had small white diamond.

He gestured me to wear it and I did, then he said, " every one who made your life miserable will pay with their lives" as he stood up, lit a cigar and walked away, he was completely changed, my Edward never used to smoke or drink but this one is someone else, but I also saw Cris doing the same thing, I wonder what happened to them.

I stood up and followed Edward to the lounge, I sat opposite him and said, " Eddy, if we are all going to the same destination, why have separate jets?" As I looked at him, he looked at me back and Said," not Eddy but Edward, the time of Eddy is over, do you hear me?. Secondly, my brother is going to his wife and you and I are going to our home" as he placed one leg over the other.

He was really changed,I nodded at him and I thought why was i not supposed to call him Eddy, I opened my mouth to ask him another question but he stopped me, " we have four to five hour of flying, use this moment to sleep, all your questions will be answered when we get to our house" he said as he placed his cigar in a bowl and looked through the window.

I had alot to ask but now, he was right,I needed sleep not just my body wanted it but my mind too.
