5: The calm before the storm

I woke up with a cloudy head and with no Eddy in the bed again, I quickly stood up and went to the bathroom, only to remember what happened last night, a smile come about my face, showering quickly and throwing on a high neck Pollo dress, fixing my curls in a bun and finally heading to the garden where breakfast was been serve.

" Here comes sleeping beauty" Ash said as she poured green tea in my cup honestly after yesterday's encounter, I need that green tea, " omg sister in law, why are you wearing a high neck Pollo dress in the middle of summer?" Asked Cris, as Eddy shot me a dirty glare which made me numb in the leg, "-how to I tell you, i have hickey around my neck- "I - I don't have any thing to wear, all my clothes are in the laundry room" I said trying to look convincing but to my surprise non of them seem to believe, " you know, you could have taken one of my oversized t-shirt and put it on, it will look like a dress on you" said Eddy as he signal me to sit next to him.

" Man, I wouldn't mind seeing you in a paper bag or in one of my clothes ma chérie" said a voice which definately belonged to Kevin, with his comment and injured face he took the attention of every one, " come on, I'm just saying, but at anytime I can take Nora or Ash or even both to my room" he says as he winks at me and Ash, all of a sudden, I see Ed picking up a folk and Cris picking up a bread knife, without saying a word they both stare at Kevin, who in turn turned his heels and left the garden, the boys then used their weapons to eat and cut bread, Ash shoot me a glare and I knew what she wanted to say.

It was very surprising that today both brothers didn't lash out at Kevin instead they were very calm, I can understand if one got mad and one is calm but both of them calm this is definitely the calm before the storm, sensing my fear, Ash spoke up, " babe I think we should cut the getaway short" she said as she fixed her eyes on me, " why?" asked Cris with a mouth full, " because, we have to prepare for the upcoming semester and you boys have to prepare for your graduation" she replied, this time averting cris' attention from the bread to her, " I will get back to you, Ed and I have to go to town for some business, I will talk to you later" he replied, with that both brothers jumped on their feets, hugged us and left.

I looked at Ash with a questioning face and she saw what I wanted, " oui, oui,I know what you want to say, but before all I'm older than you and I promised mom that I will protect you, so my decision of going back to the city is normal, and I can explain why" she said as she placed a chunk of bread in her mouth, chewed and continued, " I suggest that because, I'm afraid things will end in blood and this Kevin seems to be obsessed with us by the day which isn't good considering the type of guys we are dating" she replied, I knew that her decision was best so I didn't bother on trying to stress myself.

A minute passed with silence and then Ash broke the ice, " so tell me why on earth would you wear a high neck Pollo dress in the middle of summer? and don't give me the same lame excuse like you did before" she said with a evil smile on her face, honestly there was no point in hiding the truth from Ash so that confessed and I showed her proof, but her reaction was priceless " wow, je voir, he finally did it" she said with a mocking laughter " and what do you mean?" I finally asked, " well, it was suppose to happen the day you turned eighteen but it didn't, so I guess he waited for you to be prepared physically, emotionally and so on for him to, well you know" she replied as she chuckled in her chair, I was confused but I didn't want to discuss this topic for long.

I guess that wasn't a what Ash was thinking, " now come and I will help you cover your shame" she said still laughing, as we leave the garden and entered the house, shockingly founding Kevin and Abi making out in the lounge, before they could notice, Ash and I rushed to her room and locking the door beyond us, neither of us took what we saw in consideration,then Ash stared Appling makeup on me, she started talking, " you know, Cris burst my cherry when I was sixteen and I remember it like it was yesterday and you what?, what Edward did yesterday was a bursting of cherry ceremony, this indicates that he is free to have sex with you anytime and anywhere he wants, that why he didn't further the intercourse because he knew that you were still a virgin and he needed to Burst your bubble a little bit " she said as place down the brush.

" honestly my only concern Is how the whole house heard my moaning" I said, to my shock, Ash laughed " I guess Eddy didn't tell you but all the Romano's family maison have sound proof bedrooms, that why you slept until late" she said as she kept on laughing, I was shocked, no wonder I never hear anything from the outside when I'm inside the room, Ash then give me some pain killers and told me that Mrs Renee will be happy to hear about what happened, honestly, these things are supposed to be a secret but that not how things work with the Romanos," do want to watch a movie, it will calm you down, you will see" Ash said with lights in her eyes, I nod my head in approval, and for the rest of the day, Ash and I spent our time doing girl's things.

" Ed and I thought about your request and we think it a good idea" said Cris at dinner that evening, " really, aww, thanks babe, so when are we leaving?" Said Ash with a spark in her eyes, " tomorrow morning" answered Ed as he gently take the wine glass in his hands, honestly I'm surprised that the both of them are so calm about everything, with Kevin out if their way, they are fine but when he is some where close then I can say that it worse than world war two, it like adding perfume to a fire, since I have been dating Eddy, I was always told to stay away from Kevin and that is for good reasons " you aren't eating, why is that?" Said Eddy in yet again a calm voice, " I'm not hangry, I just want to go to bed early so that I can have time to pack in the morning" I answered, Ash and Cris were all lovey-dovey to even care About our conversation, so Ed took my hand, wished the couple good night and took me to our room.

" Tell me something, which business do you have in a country side apart from baking and farming?" I asked as I placed my head on his naked torso, " don't worry ma chérie, I had a job to do with Cris that all" he replied as he gently stroked my curls, one thing is for sure I had no right to doubt this man, to me he was perfect, that is if I knew what coming for me.
