Y/n woke up and could hear the sounds from the TV in the living room. She hesitated but eventually got out of her bed. She slowly walked to the bathroom and rubbed her eyes. She turned on the faucet and splashed her face with cool water.
Walking out of the bathroom she spotted her Aunt eating some cereal as she sat on the couch and watched the TV closely. Her aunt quickly changed the channel. "Oh. Good morning." "What was that?" Y/n asked sitting on the arm of the couch. "Oh, nothing. " Her aunt, Grace, replied. "How about you go get us some movies to watch? There's some money on the counter" Grace looked up at Y/n. "And take that switchblade thingy of yours. You never know" Grace added taking a spoonful of cereal in her mouth. Y/n gave her a confused look but complied heading to her room.
She changed, grabbed her car keys, black switchblade (a random gift she'd gotten from Eddie), and the money on the counter. She said goodbye to her aunt before heading out to Family Video. She's acting weird.

Robin ranted to Steve about Vicki as he put movies back to their spots. "But I'm having this problem where it's like, I should stop talking. I have said everything I need to say. But then I guess I get nervous, and the words keep spilling out, and it's like my—my brain is moving faster than my mouth or—or rather my—my mouth is moving faster than my brain. I'm digging a hole for myself, and I want to stop digging, I'm trying to stop, but I can't...and I'm doing it right now, aren't I?" Robin looked at Steve.
"Yeah, you are" he agreed. Robin exhaled and leaned on the wall. "Oh, I'm hopeless" Steve moved over and leaned beside Robin "eh. We both are," he said crossing his arms. Robin looked at Steve "if only we could just, like, combine." Steve furrowed his eyebrows, "combine?" Robin began "No, think about it. I know exactly what I want, and I've found the girl of my dreams, but I can't get the courage to ask her out." Robin said looking at Steve "Meanwhile, you go on a million dates. And you have no idea what you want" Steve nodded.
"So if we just combined our problems could be solved. Because, I mean, let's face it..." "We totally suck" Steve shrugged "totally and utterly." Robin added "oh! I think I've found our morning movie." Robin perked up. Robin ran to one of the movie stands "Doctor Zhivago" She grabbed the movie. "Ugh, You know I don't do double VHS tapes." Steve shook his hands.
"But it's about doomed love" Robin informed "oh, well, that's relatable" Steve grabbed his cart. "Precisely" Robin grinned "Also Julie Christie is b-b-bonkers hot in this. Like, seriously, the most beautiful creature I have ever seen in my life.." Robin grabbed the remote to the TV.
Y/n stepped out of her car and made her way into Family Video. Opening the door the bell jingled indicating someone had just walked in. Steve and Robin both turned their heads toward the H/c. Y/n waved awkwardly. Steve cleared his throat "Welcome to Family Video. Can I help you with anything?" He rested his palms on the counter. "Yeah, you got Nightmare on Elm Street?" Y/n asked. "Yeah" Steve answered walking around the counter and heading over to the horror movie section. Y/n followed behind.
Steve's eyes scanned the movies before finally spotting the movie the female needed. Pulling it out he looked at her "Here you go" he said. Y/n took the movie and looked at it "thanks" Steve leaned his arm on the movie rack "Um, have I seen you somewhere?" He asked. Y/n looked up at him and got a good look at his face then looked at his name tag. Steve the Hair-Harrington? Y/n chuckled to herself. "I think so yeah" Y/n replied "pretty sure you were gawking at me yesterday," Y/n said.
Steve's stomach filled with butterflies. How embarrassing. He cleared his throat. "And also, uh, if I'm correct, we went to school together" Y/n added. Steve scrunched his eyebrows "really?" The h/c nodded "But I'm sure you were too caught up with Nancy Wheeler to even notice" Y/n said.
