Y/n walked alongside Robin and Nancy while Steve and Eddie walked behind them. "Couldn't we have tried a road, or something slightly less creepy?" Robin inquired. "I think we're getting close. We're almost out of here. Don't worry" Nancy reassured.

"Eddie." Steve called making his way up beside him "Eddie. Hey, man. Uh...listen, I just, uh, I just want to say thanks. For saving my ass back there" Steve thanked "Shit. you saved your own ass, man." Eddie replied "I mean, that was a real Ozzy move you pulled back there"

"Ozzy?"
"When you took a bite out of that bat. Ozzy Osbourne? Black Sabbath? He bit a bats head off onstage"
"I don't—"
"You know?"
"No"
"Doesn't matter."

"It was very metal, what you did. That's all I'm saying." Eddie clarified "thanks" Steve replied. "Henderson told me you were a badass. Insisted on the matter, in fact." Eddie revealed, "Henderson said that?" Steve questioned "oh, yeah. Shit. Kid worships you, dude" Eddie answered. "Like, you have no idea. It's kinda annoying, to be honest"

"I don't even know why I care what that little shrimp thinks, but, uh, I guess I got a little jealous, Steve." Eddie admitted "I guess I couldn't accept the fact that Steve Harrington was actually...a good dude. Rich parents, popular, chicks love him. Not a douche? No way, man. No way. That, like, flies in the face of all the laws in the universe and my own personal Munson doctrine."

"Still super jealous as hell, by the way," leaned close to Steve "okay" Steve chuckled "which is why I would never have jumped in that lake to save your ass. Not under any, uh—normal circumstances." Eddie claimed

"Nope. Outside of D&D, I am no hero. I see danger and I just turn heel and run. Or at least that's what I've learned about myself this week." Eddie added "give yourself a break, man" Steve patted his shoulder. Eddie stopped "see..the only reason I came in here was cause of those ladies who came in straight after you." Eddie pointed to Y/n, Nancy, and Robin.

"Now, I was too ashamed to be the one who stayed behind. But L/n right there, she didn't waste a second. Not one second. She just dove right in. I can tell she likes you...one way or another. Now, I'm not saying that because I'm her best friend, but, it's true. What she did was an unambiguous sign of true love as these cynical eyes have ever seen." Steve looked at Eddie before looking at Y/n who talked with Robin. "You hurt her and, well, I'm not sure what I'll do. I'll figure out something" Eddie scratched his arm.

Steve chuckled before the ground began to shake again. "Here we go again" Eddie grumbled. "Second on my list of least favorite things, earthquakes" Robin exclaimed "Seriously, I'm unsteady as it is" Nancy let go of the tree she was leaning on and ran "Nancy?" Y/n shouted, "where are you going!?" Robin added "Nancy?" Robin continued.

The ground stopped shaking and everyone joined Nancy. Nancy looked at her house from afar. "Come on," she said and began walking towards her hours. Everyone followed along. After some minutes they made it to Nancy's house. Nancy twisted the door knob and opened the door.
Veins all around her house covering the walls "Nice place you got, Wheeler" Y/n said as she looked around. "Come on. I don't wanna stay here longer than we have to" Nancy replied going up her stairs. Eddie, Robin, and Y/n followed close behind as Steve stayed behind.

Nancy walked into her bedroom and went to her closet. She pulled out a white box and placed it on her drawer. Opening the box they all saw white heels instead of a gun. "Those aren't guns," Y/n remarked "these heels are pointy, but I was hoping for a deadly projectile" Robin looked at Nancy. "I don't understand" Nancy shook her head "Maybe you left them somewhere else" Eddie suggested. "There's a six-year-old in the house. I know where I keep my guns." Nancy replied. "Also I threw these away years ago."

Beside her box were her study cards. She furrowed her eyebrows as she picked them up and looked through them "studying is great, Nance. But I don't think that should be our main focus right now" said Y/n. "These are from sophomore chemistry. And this...this wallpaper, this is old wallpaper." Nancy stepped back "and this mirror, this went to a yard sale." Nancy pointed at her mirror before turning to her bed "and You...you're not supposed to be here." She said picking up a stuffed animal.
