The Honeymoon Phase

After the park, the girls decided to go hang out back at Nancy's place again.

On the drive back Robin put her hand on Nancy's leg while she was driving and Nancy giggled, "You're distracting me"

Robin replied, "What? I'm not doing anything"

Nancy bit her lip, "If I get in an accident it's your fault"

"Okay whatever you say, babe" Robin said, sitting back, crossing her arms

Nancy felt breathless as a million butterflies seemed to take hold of her insides, "Babe?"

"Umm yeah, is that okay?" asked Robin, sweetly

Nancy purred, "You don't even have to ask"

Robin smiled, "I really want to kiss you, Nance"

Nancy expressed, "You have no idea how much I want to kiss you too"

Once the car pulled up and was parked, Nancy immediately grabbed Robin's face and started kissing her deeply.

Briefly breaking apart Nancy panted, "Do you want to maybe go inside? Mike should be out with his friends so that leaves us with the basement"

Robin stammered, "Oh the b-basement?"

Nancy furrowed her brows, "Yeah, is that okay?"

Robin admitted nervously, "Nancy, I really really like you but I don't know if I'm ready yet for that. I know that one day I will be! It's just maybe not the first day, we can wait out the anticipation a bit even..."

Nancy's cheeks were bright red, "Oh goodness, I just thought we could hangout in the basement and make out and play some board games down there"

Robin said, embarrassed, "Ohhhhh"

Nancy held her arm, "It's okay, it's okay! Honestly I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to it's just that wasn't what I meant by the basement. One day....but for now.."

"Just take it one step at a time?" 

Nancy nodded and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek

The girls then made their way into Nancy's house and down the stairs to the basement. It was getting dark out and watching movies and snuggling on the couch with Robin sounded like the best night ever to Nancy. She could barely contain her excitement.

Hand-in hand with Robin, Nancy murmured, "I swear if Mike or one of his friends are down here..." 

"Hello? Anybody home?" Robin called out turning on the basement light

Nancy shrugged, "Then there's that way of finding out"

Robin raised her eyebrows, her blue eyes sparkling, "Looks like nobody's here, Nance"

Nancy grabbed Robin's arms, "So that means I have you all to myself"

"No! Stop, we are still here and leaving!" a voice shouted, causing the girls to jolt apart

Mike stumbled out from another part of the basement with Eleven right behind him

Nancy groaned, "Are you kidding me, Mike? What are you doing?"

Nancy looked between her brother and his girlfriend, Eleven

Mike raised his eyebrows, "Sis, you and I both know I could also ask what you're doing..." he gestured to Robin, "here"

Nancy glared at him, "Shouldn't you be seeing yourself out now?"

Mike let Eleven go in front of him, "After you, my love"
