The door slides open and the burning stench if alcohol wafts around the table entering our noses one at a time. Annabeth plugs her nose, and Aphrodite finally shuts up. I look at the mess that's our mentor, an uneven buttoned up animal striped shirt stained with whatever color that is. Wrinkled cargo shorts with a half empty bottle of whiskey in a pocket, one sock barely on and the other unfortunately long gone, no shoes to be seen.

"Uh... hello..." I say to him, and he burps. "Ar... are you there?" I ask him. He turns his head to me slowly, blinks unevenly and falls face first to the floor completely past out on the floor. "Well... we are dead." I say as I look at the sad sack on the floor.

"What is that?" Annabeth asks.

"That's...our teacher..." I sign and watch the whiskey roll out of his pocket and down the floor. "He's supposed to give us tips on how to play the game, and get us sponsors."

"Oh..." Annabeth sits back in her chair looking defeated.

I grab his legs and drag him out into the hallway, and shut the door making the stench go away.

"At least we can finish eating now." I sit back down.

A few hours later the complete darkness of mid ocean at night engulfs the ship. I make my way to the pool for a late-night swim.

I open the door to the pool, its silent expect for the filters running. I toss my towel and shirt on a table and dive in. The cool water surrounds me and feels calming. I sit on the bottom of the pool and open my eyes under water. The pool lights make the water glow a bright blue, I look around sitting under the water. I close my eyes and let the calm take over my body, my arms float at my sides moving with the water. Suddenly the water shifts, and hands wrap around my waist, they drag me to the surface and push me out of the pool. I look and see Annabeth getting out of the pool in a panic. Without a thought I close my eyes.

Water splashes and slaps of her feet go next to me. Her hands press down on my chest and then her lips press against mine blowing air into my mouth. A smirk and fights its way on my mouth.

"Oh...my...god...PERCY!" she hits my chest.

I open an eye and see her blushed face. I closed my eye again. "I think I'm still drowning."

Her sigh echoes around the room, then her lips press against mine again.
