Nico runs to Will and cuts him free with my sword.
"Yeah... don't ....mind....me." I try catching my breath still sitting on her.
"Will your hurt." Nico says.
I get off the dead girl and slump over to the shore near them, and I flop to the ground exhausted.
"Yeah... She stuck me with her spear and wanted to watch me bleed out." Will says holding his stomach.
"No...you can't...you cant die." Nico holds Wills wound.
"You and Percy get out of here, leave me here." Wills says.
"No! I'm gonna help you... make you better." Nico starts looking around frantically as he holds the wound. "You cant die! I'll have no one." Nico's voice breaks.
Will reaches up and cups his cheek.
"Nic... I'm already dead." He smiles softly.
"No...no...no..." Nico's voice shaky.
"Yes, Nico... this is it for me." he says rubbing Nico's cheek.
"Th-then... I'll go with you." Nico says.
"What?" Will says.
"I'll have no one when you die... I want to go with you." Nico says.
"Nico... you can't... you have to-"
"No!" Nico cuts him off. "Don't day, I have to live for you and Bianca... I don't want to live without you two. I'm coming with you, like it or not." Nico says.
Will chuckles and coughs.
"Stubborn punk." Will smiles. "How will you do it?" He asks.
Nico looks around and rushes to a bush.
"With theses, they are Nightlock berries... we both take these, and we will drift away... together." Nico says.
"I don't want you to do this." Will says.
"To bad." Nico sits next to him. "Percy... thank you for your help."
"Are you sure about this?" I ask.
"Yeah." Nico says, he puts some berries in Wills mouth and some in his own.
They chew and swallow, Nico kisses Will and they hold hands sitting close together.
"I love you Nico." Will says.
"I love you too." Nico says.
Their breaths get shallow, and stop completely. Their eyes close at the same time, their hands clasped tight together. The cannon fires twice.
