It's been 8 hours since the games started. I've watched Percy kill three people, including one of the guys that got drunk with him on the rooftop and Piper who talked to me after we got engaged. After the Apollo show, Percy yelled to the entire population of Panem that I was pregnant. President Zeus succumbed to the pressure of the population and took me out of the games. They didn't even let me say goodbye and good luck to Percy, before they started shipping me back to 3.
I stare at the T.V., Percy is standing over the Jason guys body. Percy takes his sword out and gently lays Jason on his back. A small boy walks out of the dark and stands behind Percy.
"PERCY TURN AROUND!" I yell to the screen.
Percy tuns but they just face each other. It looks like they are talking about something, the camera slowly circling them.
"What happened Annabeth?" Aphrodite runs in and sits next to me.
"Percy killed that Jason guy." I say.
"Jason... wasn't he the one that became friends with Percy?" she says.
"Yeah, I don't know why he attacked Percy." I say.
"How are you fee- "
"WAIT, THAT'S NICO!" I yell pointing at the screen.
The camera zooms in on the young kids face. At the bottom of the screen, words scroll across. "BROTHER OF BIANCA DI ANGELO, WHO DIED EARLIER BY CLARISSE LA RUE FROM DISTRICT 5."
"Oh no... his sister." Aphrodite says sadly.
Percy and Nico continue talking in the dark woods. Music starts to play and the screen cuts. Apollo pops up on the screen, his big white teeth takes most of it up.
"That is 12 am, the first 12 hours have passed!" he cheers. "Time to show some of the highlights of the first day's action!" he laughs.
The screen cuts again, and shows Percy out swimming everyone.
"Percy Jackson from 3! He scored a 0 on the tribute evals.... But as you can see, that was the complete opposite of the score he should have gotten. This boy is a 12, MAX SCORE!" Apollo cheers as we watch Percy's highlights.
Percy out swimming everyone, launching off the face of another tribute, killing that big guy, killing Piper, and lastly killing Jason.
"I hope he's ok..." I say under my breath, still glued to the screen.
"Annabeth... hello?" Aphrodite says.
"Huh, what?" I say still glued.
"How are you feeling?" She says.
"I'm fine!" I snap.
Her face frightened and sad, her body recoiled at me snapping at her.
"I- I'm sorry..." I say quietly.
"It's ok... I just wanted to make sure you and the baby are ok."' She says.
"I'm sorry." I repeat.
"It's late, you should get to bed." Mr. D says from behind the couch.
"BUT- "
"I'll stay up, and get you if anything happens, go get some sleep." Mr. D puts a hand on my shoulder.
"O-ok." I say and go to my room on the train.
Aphrodite walks me to Percy and I's room.
"Try not to worry sweetie, Percy is a very capable young handsome man." She says.
