After the incident on the beach, I made a break for the tree line. I found a tall tree and managed to climb up to a high branch, and I wait for a while as everyone spreads out. Soon enough night falls over the arena.

The cannons fire off, and the music starts to play, and the hologram lights up.

The names and faces flash in the sky and soon end. I recognize the last two, the guy I killed and the girl that burned to death.
Sitting on the high branch I try to get some sleep, not soon after I close my eyes, voices echo out near me. I kinda curl up to make myself less visible. Luke and his group come walking by laughing loudly.
"Did you see her face!" a big girl laughs.
"What about the boy begging for his life." The guy that I broke his nose laughs.
"Hey Luke, isn't that the one of the lovers?" another girl says hanging of his arm.
"Ah...Good eye Piper." Luke laughs.
I recognize the girl hanging off Luke, she was with Grover and went off with Annabeth when I proposed.
"Hey lover boy, why don't you come down here and show me some... of your moves!" the big girl yells up.
"No thanks... I would rather hook up with a bee hive, than a troll." I yell back down.
She scoffs and kicks the tree.
"Calm down Clarisse!" Luke checks her. "Lets just wait him out, he'll either starve of come down to die." He smiles up, and Piper gives off a forced laugh.
"How about you and your leaches walk away, before I kill you!" I yell down.
"What did you say you little-
"Hey how's your nose?" I cut him off, his nose black and blue.
He pulls out his bow and fires an arrow, it whistles past me.
"OW YOU GOT ME, I'M DEAD!" I pretend to die.
