~ Layla's POV ~

I watched as the long clock hand close to the 2. 3:10.

RING!! RING!!

Finally. Calculus was over and my favorite time in the whole world came. Ballet. I felt a jump in my step as I left the classroom. It was a long day and I knew my next class could relieve my stress. But suddenly I came to a halt when I remembered something. The girls. I sighed. My mood was now ruined and lively persona died and as replaced with a sad teenage girl dragging herself to herself through the halls.

I pushed through the people crowding in the halls as I tried to reach my class. I somehow reached it and rushed to the bathroom to change into my tight white dance tights, toe  shoes, and black leotard. I slowly crept into class while Mrs. Nadiya Alyosha, the ballet instructor, was talking about some performance I didn't quite understand.

"Ah... Thare's our main ackt!" Mrs. Alyosha came towards me in a hurry and engulfed me in a hug.

I was confused at what just occurred so I just stood there still in her warm arms not comprehending anything.

She looked toward me with warm eyes and said with a heavy Russian accent,"My darling. We are going to perform in the showcase a week later at skool."

I gaped at her at the news. I wanted to say "what the hell" but she cut me off and ordered everyone to start with warming up.

Even though I so wanted to ask her, I knew not to based on past experiences.

"Pas. Allegro. Pas. Assemblè. Attitude. Croise........" The teacher ordered us continually to ordered the rest of the group all the meanwhile she was teaching and perfecting my moves in the upcoming recital. It might seem like a rush but all of the people in this class had been learning from an early age.

By the end of the class, I didn't feel like moving at all and I was drenched in sweat and the room felt like a freaking oven. I changed either way craving for the cold air outside. I could attest that it was not comfortable feeling wet and sticky.

I strolled slowly toward the double doors leading outside where I could see my friends talking giddily. I sighed. I didn't care anymore. All I wanted was some sleep.

As soon as I exited, she spotted me and rushed toward me.

"What happened to you?" Clara asked while scrunching her eyebrows with worry.

"A recital happened. You know the showcase next week? I am the main act of the ballet class."

Joanne gasped and shouted.

"That's awesome!"

I sighed and said in a weary tone, "I'm tired. I want go home and cuddle with my teddy bear."

It seemed they forgot all about the encounter with the guys in the morning but it appeared not. They sighed. They knew not to push it and they understand. that's the reason why they are my friends. they knew the limits.

Crimson then said while raising her eyes and pointing an accusing finger at me," Don't think we let you off. We will make you confess tomorrow."

Jo and Clara giggled.

I was tired as I stated many times so I thanked them and waved my hand to them as I ran to my black BMW Z4, my baby. I don't have that kind of money but friends have. They gave it to me for my seventeenth birthday. You could say I was surprised as hell. When they arrived, they were riding in the car when they said this was my present.

I drove home and went straight to sleep after I took a warm shower. I needed it so badly that I even skipped dinner.

The week went by fast and soon it was the showcase. The week went much smoother than that day.
