"Executioner style
And there won't be no trial
Don't you know that
You're better off dead
All I see is red, red, oh red
Now all I see is Ahhh
Oh you're so done
Better sleep with one eye open tonight"

I checked the guns last time when we pulled up in front of the entrance. I looked at my people and they all nodded at me, remembering the last guidelines. I took a deep breath, checked that the vest was properly on top of me, and left. My father was standing in front of us, talking to Chan, one of my uncle's bodyguards. I held the rifle in my hand and watched them, waiting for a sign. I was focused, planned everything and all I needed was an opportunity. I didn't care about Kinn, my cousin's life meant less to me than the dust that settled on my car, but I had to play good son who is demanding power. It was the only way to make sure no one in this building was going to hurt Pete.

Ever since I left my medicine and food in his room, I haven't had a chance to even see if he was okay. I only hoped that what I brought him helped in any way and he was already on his feet, healthy. Macau was hiding safely in one of his friends house, I warned him about my plans, though I was afraid he would forbid me to kill father. He nodded, however, considering it a good decision. We have both suffered for a long time because of this man, too long.

I took a deep breath as I listened to the conversation, then noticed a twitch in my fathers fingers that suggested it was time to strike. Without much thought, I squeezed the trigger and fired at Chan's chest. Several people ran outside immediately hearing the noise, but we took care of them fairly quickly.

"It's your time, Vegas," my father said, staring at me with expectation-filled eyes and all I wanted to do was laugh. You fool.

I nodded to him, pretending to agree, and headed inside, watching my people destroy everything they came across on the way. Bullets flew in every possible direction, flesh and blood adorned the floor, but we managed to get to the elevator. I pressed the main floor, where I suspected everyone was, and as soon as the door opened, one of my men threw smoke grenades inside, obstructing others' visibility. We easily ran out of the elevator, hiding behind huge columns that shielded us from the bullets.

"Vegas you bastard!" Kinn's shout reached me from a distance. "Are you crazy?!"

"Not me, idiot, my father," I whispered, though I knew he couldn't hear it.

"You have to withdraw before we all die here, including you!" Kinn continued shouting, and I began walking cautiously towards him.

It was not easy to move knowing that someone could shoot me at any moment, but luckily I managed to reach the counter he was hiding behind. I slipped in unnoticed and put the barrel to his back.

"Kinn," I started, and he froze, waiting for my move. "Get out of here, I'm going to end it all."

I tried to speak so that no one else could hear me, but my cousin didn't seem to understand what I meant.

"What?!" he shouted, drawing the attention of the newly arrived bodyguards, the smoke hide our silhouettes fortunately.

"Get out of here, don't you see, it's not about you at all," I growled this time right into his ear. "Hide and wait, I'll get my father."

I don't know if he believed me or not, but when the elevator opened in front of us, I pushed him toward it. Kinn turned for a second, studying my determined face, and for perhaps the first time since I was born, an understanding flowed between us.

"I don't know what's going on and whether I will regret it, but okay," he said, and we nodded.

"Wait!" I stopped him for a second. "Is... Is Pete healthy yet? You didn't make him fight, did you?"
