     You had been hired to work in a pet shop that had recently opened right across from the daycare. The manager saw it as a good marketing tactic to get the kids to see the pets and convince their parents to take one home. You had worked here a few weeks already and had grown accustomed to the "neighbors". Occasionally the daycare would make trips over to visit the pet shop to play with the animals. The shop had a petting area where kids could play with and pet the smaller animals. While the kids played you would make conversation with the daycare attendant, well more like you would try. The only thing you really got out of him was that his name was SunDrop. 

"How are you today Sundrop" you smiled extending a hand to him

"I'M DoING G-GOOD....HOW ARE YOU?" he asked in falsetto moving his hands all around

"I'm doing well, I haven't seen you as much lately though" you replied with a small sigh pulling your hand back

  He seemed to take notice of this and reached for your hand, he took it in his and his face plate began to spin. 

"W-well, RECENTLY we-WE HAD A KID who had A SEVERE cat allergy so we couldn't stop by" sun trailed off looking everywhere but at me.

"Well that makes sense, we wouldn't want anyone to get hurt." you shrugged as you turned your attention to the kids and back to sun "Do you want to hold one" you asked

"M-ME?! WELL I_IF YOU INSIST" sun exclaimed as he followed you into the petting area

"Take a seat on the mat" you giggled as you scooped up a rabbit and brought it over to sun.

  You took a seat beside him and gently placed the rabbit in his lap, he flinched a bit but relaxed as the rabbit rested in the space between his legs.

"Her name is Cotton, because she looks like a ball of cotton when she sleeps" you smiled looking between the rabbit and sun

"SHE"S SO CUTE" he exclaimed his voice shooting up in excitement 

"I think so too" you mumbled stroking her ears as they folded down under your touch.

"JUST AS CUTE AS YOU" SUN beamed (Moon is facepalming rn 💀🤚)

"W-Wha-" you started your face going bright red

"IT WAS A-A MISTAKE, WELL NOT EXACTLY BUT....UM, WE"LL SEE YOU LATER" sun said in a hurry "TIME TO GO KIDS"

  "AWWWW" the kids said dejectedly as they made their way back to the daycare

"What was that" you mumbled watching them make their way back to the daycare in a hurry

~Closing Time

   You were cleaning up the petting area after you successfully got all the animals in their cages for the night. you had headphones in listening to (Favorite song) as you mopped the floor, you started to dance around the room with the broom in your hand, quietly singing the song aloud. Listening to your music you thought you heard a knock on the door bit you brushed it of as one of the animals moving around. As you were really getting into the song you spun around and were met with the moon counterpart of the sun attendant.
