Living With The Boss

Chapter 11

My alarm resounds and i now have to get done for work, last night  Daniel had picked me and we agreed that i'll move in today after work.  He had been so persistent about it that out of annoyance, i agreed just  so that he would shut up about it already. I got out of bed and ran my  bath, this is the last morning that i would use this tub, i paired a  maroon dress with a black shoe and pinned my hair back. Then i packed my  lunch and headed out to work, i'll call Sam later to come over and help  me pack my things.

After leaving from Daniels  i had gone out with Sam and two of our  good friends Abby and Claire. It was extremely fun watching the crazy  things that they do when they are drunk. I called Matt when the night  was over to pick us up and drop myself and the girls at home.

Sara was real excited to see me when i entered the hotel, "Jess, how  was the trip?" "It was okay, i got to get upstairs though." I don't know  what it was about her but i was afraid to trust her completely and i  didn't really want any one at work to know that i was pregnant because  then they'll ask too much questions about the father and i don't think  that i could lie about that. I haven't even told my mom that i'm  pregnant yet and i should probably get on it since i'm almost four  months now.

I entered the elevator and went up to the third floor, i'm still  working on the third floor even though i'm his PA. If i'm honest, it's  kinda boring on this floor, the only time there's any movement is when  Daniel has meetings. The staff hasn't had any meeting yet. I checked my  mails and saw that Daniel had a meeting at 11am and so i decided to step  out of the office to get me some breakfast after mailing him to inform  him. I'm sure that he wouldn't mind since i'd be feeding his babies  after all.

I grabbed a wrap and Laura's which was a cafe' down the street. I  returned to the office and decided to start go over some notes of the  meetings we've had in Italy. My memory has become so horrid for some  reason. 

A three guys and two females exited the elevator and i logged them  through to Daniel then set them up in one of the meeting rooms. Daniel  arrived on the third floor soon after i had sent him the mail and to my  surprise, he kissed me before we had to go into the meeting. I had  thought that he'd be all professional at work because well, it's a  professional environment. I don't think we'll actually work out as a  couple if we're working and living together. That's just too much but  for the sake of not having a argument about this right now, i decided to  just wait it out and ease him into the idea of me seeking a different  job after the babies are born, since it's hard to get a job when you're  pregnant and all. Besides, I'll be showing in a month or two depending  on when my baby bump decides to pop.

The meeting wasn't as long as i expected it to be and Daniel gave me  the rest of the day off to go home and pack up. He said that he'd send  Mr Mani to my apartment at 6 to transport all my clothing. Apparently i  could sell all of my other things because i didn't need it at his  apartment.

I called Sam to come over as soon as i was home. She came over and we  were now packing my things and she took some items that i would never  wear again as a mother. "Why have i never seen you in this top?" She  asked holding a green crop top up, "I don't even remember why i bought  that. It was probably last summer when i was inspired by all the pics  girls were posting on insta but i never had the gust to take a picture  wearing it and then i lost the hype." "Well i'll take it off your hands  then." She threw it in the box that had her name on it. If i'm honest  she could have most of my clothing items if she wanted because i'm sure  i'd be a size bigger even after the babies are born. I packed in some of  my books and other items that i just couldn't part with and told Sam  that she could have my bedding sets if she wanted it, otherwise i'll  just take it all along with everything else left in my apartment to  goodwill. I didn't see the point in selling things that i'd been using.  It just wouldn't be right. Matt arrived at 5:30pm to help Sam with her  boxes and to lend a hand when Mr Mani arrived.
