I watched the rain fall slowly from my front porch. It was so calm and soothing. Sitting here, I realize how lucky I am to be here. I can live my life with out worrying that every second could be my last. My days aren't numbered anymore.
It's been about 7 months since things got suspicious. Nearly 7 months since I got the phone call that changed my life. A little over 6 months since the first court meeting. and just barely 2 months since everythings been resolved and calmed down.
It's been a long and tough journey, but we made it through. I don't think I couldn't have done it with out my best friends by my side. We're all closer than ever, even through all the lies, betrayals, and little secrets we went through.
