The sun crept in through the thin curtains of the hotel room. Amelie rouse to a heavy weight on her chest, but she didn't need to open her eyes to know what (or who) it was. It was Jimmy Page. His arms lay weightlessly on either side of her, his head cradled in her nude bosom. She brought her arms to gently embrace him, careful not to disturb his sleep. He stirred for a moment, turning his head to face the other way, but didn't wake.

A few more minutes of peace passed, the blue eyed girl slipping in and out of alertness and moving her hands to caress Jimmy's curls. He suddenly scooped her up in his thin arms, holding her closely as he sighed against her chest in contentment. "Good morning, love." He smiled, not yet looking up at her.

"Mornin', Jimmy." She began to massage his mess of hair, knowing he was now awake. "How'd you sleep?"

He turned his head to rest his stubbled chin on her sternum. "Wonderfully." His grinned widely, his adorable crows feet stretching out from his closed eyes. "And you, my dear?"

"Oh, 'bout the same as always." She gave a weak laugh, twirling a raven curl in her fingers. Jimmy propped himself up on his forearms, looking lovingly into Amelie's eyes from above. He brushed her fluffy hazel hair away from her face with slender hands, grinning at her beautiful visage.

"You're too beautiful, miss Amelie. Too, too beautiful. I'd just like to stare at you all day." He leaned down to peck along her neck and jaw.

"I could say the same of you, mister Page." A grin, slothful and sprinkled with sleep, traced her lips. Amelie and Jimmy had known each other for a few years. Since '77. They'd met at a liquor store that she worked in Southwest Philly; how romantic. The two hit it off, Jimmy spending his day off drinking with her  on Schuylkill River and raving about their love of Astrology.

But, when Jimmy encouraged her to join him on tour, her answer was a fervent 'no'. Jimmy attempted to convince her, but his pleas fell on deaf ears. The liquor store was her family's, and it was now her and her mother's responsibility. Her father was very ill, and her elder sister and two elder brothers had all left Pennsylvania to chase their dreams. In doing so, they basically took that option away from her. Her parents depended on her.

Jimmy eventually went back on tour, leaving her behind. He'd often call and write, sending her pictures, postcards, and little souvenirs in the mail. Whenever he was anywhere near Philadelphia, he'd come and see Amelie. They'd kissed and touched, but they'd never made love — until a few hours ago, that is.
