MaidTojo: Alright, I'm heading to the mall.
MalsSUCK: Mind if I tag along? I got a few things I wanna buy for a special someone <33
magik: i told you, no more gifts. gifts in my room damage my mana. the only thing i need is a cat.
TittyTyphoon: Cat? As in like, pussy? As in like vag-
Angyay: Ooo! Me and Gonta want to see the pet shop too!
MaidTojo: If you can all pay, we can travel together.
PianoPiano: Shuichi, can we see the freeloaders playing piano? They're so beautiful!
DetectiveBoi: ? huh yeah sure i need stuff anyway idm
GrapeBoiGrape: ew, shopping. count me out, me and the rest of these guys r stayi-
GarfieldFace: i'm going to the coffee shop.
SeeSaw: the cafe? it seems pretty chill their jade tea is delicious too
Avacado: am i rlly gonna be left with kokichi.
PianoPiano: Maki, Kaito, Miu , Kiibo, Himiko and Tsumugi are all busy working on things right now so you and Kokichi can explore or lounge around the school.

Kaede: Look! They're playing Fur Elise! That song always sounded so pretty. I rally wanted to learn it, for you :)
Shuichi: yeah, yeah..
Kaede: .. Shuichi, what's wrong? Your face is burning.
Shuichi: i told you before, it's just my allergies swelling down
Kaede: please shuichi, stop lying to me. i love you. i trust you. i hope you trust me.
Shuichi: ... i can't.
As Kaede reaches out for him, he stumbles away holding his face until he is out of sight. Kaede let out a sigh of exhaustion.

Kaede: ..Was it , me? What have I done? What HAVE I done?
Kaede sighed as she walked off into the direction of the girls bathroom, as the walk turned into a desperate run.

Tenko: Hey Kirumi, do you think this tabby was suit Himiko? Or would a Calico be better??? Hnngh....
Kirumi: Tenko, what Himiko needs is a calm collective cat. I believe there's a few, like the Siamese, the Norwegian forest breed, the Siberian and the British Shorthair. Of course, that's just to name a few.
Tenko: *jaw drop*
Kirumi: I , um, worked as a maid for an old lady who liked cats once. She didn't really need a maid, she was great though.
Tenko: OOOOOOOHHHHH. :D Kay! Let's find a Siberian!
Kirumi lets out a small giggle, no louder then a coin drop. For the first time in a while, she hasn't enjoyed talking and being with someone this much.

Shuichi let out a muffled sniff into his sleeve as he crouched onto the bathroom stall. The mall's stalls were just perfect, hiding his face and making him anonymous to those next to him. Suddenly, he heard a voice coming from the other stall.
???: is anyone in here?
Shuichi kept quiet. He didn't want any more unnecessary opinions but he let out a small accidental sigh. Wow, great going man, not so conspicuous.
???: I'm not a monster, you can come out.
Shuichi held himself tighter. Who was this stranger with such a deep voice, demanding him out. But then he called again,
???: Hey man, the mall is closing.
Shuichi hurriedly checked his watch.
???: Yeah, you fell asleep. Sorry Shuichi.
His eyes widened. How did he know his name/
wait... RYOMA??
Shuichi: ...Ryoma? Didn't you go to the coffee shop outside the mall?
Ryoma: Yeah, but my ass burned and i needed a SHIIIIIIT. You know, I've actually been taking voices lessons from Nekomaru Nidai. That coach guy or whatever, he's super cool. I could go on but it's time to head bac-
Shuichi slid out of the stall , his face stank of dry tears, before Ryoma handed him a friendly wave.
Wait.

Wait. Nonononono.
Kaede would be on the bus back. This was not what he had planned. He needed to be ready. He's not there for himself, so who would be.

Shuichi settled on the bus with the others, i between Kirumi and Tenko at the front.
Angie: That was so fun! The puppy gobbled me up, but it's a shame they're so expensive :(
Gonta: Pets are great. Gonta think animal is stress relieve!
Kirumi and Kaede nod in agreement.

As they boarded, Shuichi felt it would be best to just sit alone. But as he looked across , he saw Kaede looking out the window sorrowfully.

Kaede felt a wave of guilt as she accidentally saw Shuichi glancing at her. Whatever she had done, it was bad. And it would feel bad, because they were close. Maki even said she thought they were lovers. She trusted Shuichi. She would give him her life. Always.
Shuichi tugged on his bag as the cold winter night set out. The snow fell like petals tonight and felt much more breezy. He shivered.

Kaede: ... kirumi? can we talk?
Kirumi: sure, what's on your mind?
Kaede: say there's this guy- person. person, and this person is hiding their feelings from me because they're afraid of the truth. everyone is ? amiright? anyways, what should i do if they ran away and won't speak to me? for no context
Kirumi: do you know this person online or in real life?
Kaede: i'd say both. i met them here but we text all the time when they're ill.
Kirumi: it's better to let your feelings out online . come off friendly and non-pressuring. that's your weak point, rushing to the point. take it slow and steady to find the real reason.
Kaede: thank you, but how did you know all of that?
Kirumi: For me, there's never a first time. I've tried almost everything not dangerous.
Kaede felt a reassuring hand on her sleeve as Kirumi gave a gentle warm smile. Sometimes; she was like her mother but also a great friend.
It's like telepathy. Both Shuichi and Kaede lean back in their bus seat, across eachother. Shuichi almost fell asleep on the chair next to him again. Today was too much, even if it wasn't.
