"Ge ge, di di ai ni~" a young boy appearing in his youth around the age of 4 ran towards another boy who was slightly taller than him, te younger boy who was Wang Yibo hugged the leg of the other boy who's named had faded through time and disappeared into a cloud.
"Yibo, don't be so childish," the older one said laughing, revealing his bunny teeth while patting Yibo's head lightly.
A soft summer breeze came by, touching both of the boys before fading away, and Yibo held onto his ge ge's leg with a huge smile playing around his lips.
"Ge ge, di di ai ni~" once again Yibo repeated the words with a pout visible on his lips, making the older once chuckle and the older boy who was a few months older picked Yibo up, while Yibo hugged his ge ge tightly as if he was scared his ge would disappear into thin air any particular moment when he wouldn't look.
"Bo di~" his voice was soft like the summer breeze a moment ago, his voice was able to be compared to the one of an angel, and although Yibo was not able to see his features clearly; as if he was looking through a troubled glass, he knew his ge ge looked like an angel, only already judging by the voice.
He clung onto his ge together, not scared to fall, but scared to lose him after this moment, Yibo buried his face into his ge ge's crook while whispering the words he had chanted a few moments ago too, "ge ge, di di ai ni~".
And just like a moment ago all his ge did was chuckle lightly, patting Yibo's back while carrying him, unknown to his ge Yibo's words were honest and more extensive than the surface showed, the love Yibo felt for his ge was nothing near brotherhood or a strong friendship, he ai for his ge was bottomless, but it was unknown to his ge.
Ge ge was carrying Yibo while humming softly, and Yibo kept his face on the warm crook of his ge while getting intoxicated with his sweet fragrance of burning sandalwood, he never wanted his ge ge ever to leave him.
And while Yibo closed his eyes, tiredness washing over him he kept hugging his ge ge tightly, promising himself that when he grew up, Yibo would protect his ge ge like he protected Yibo now, unconsciously Yibo's hand ran towards the bracelet on his wrist, it was a two pair bracelet, one for his ge and one fro himself, so they would always find each other in the end.

Xiao Zhan's POV
I shot up, sweat dripping from my forehead and tears which hadn't the chance to fall in the corner of my eyes, my breath was hitching while I looked around the room, suppressing upcoming memories while trying to remember where I was.
That was when I realized I was still bound to the chair, after being kidnapped by those damned assassins. I took a deep breath, reassuring my heart that I was safe, at least I would be for now because he needed me for something. I did not know what, but he wouldn't kill me as long as I would be of use to him, and I tried to forget the haunting dream that had been following me ever since the day my di di left me behind.
I've been searching for him, through lands, field cities and town, yet it was as if he had disappeared from the world, no one remembered him, no one recognized him, and throughout the years that had been passing his face was fading from my memories, sometimes I couldn't even recall how he sounded anymore, and a cold shiver ran down my spine when I remembered yesterday's event.
He was talking, but it sounded muffled as if he was somewhere screaming in the background while I was drowning in an endless sea with memories haunting me, and all I was able to do was stare at him, he looked so familiar, he looked so like my di di.
But that was impossible, he couldn't be my di di, my di di was a good-hearted person, not a cold-blooded assassin, I chanted the words inside my mind while he kept talking, his words never reached my ears while I was in an endless time bubble staring at him.
If my di di grew up, he might have looked like him, but then good not an assassin, all those thoughts ran through my mind, stumbling over each other while I tried to focus, tried to forget my di di for one moment and get my head clear, but I knew that was impossible. My di di had always haunted me, not only when I was sleeping, but even when I am awake his voice and gestures would follow me.
And I missed him, I would find him eventually, no matter how long it would take me, our paths will cross again someday, and I would make sure of it if needed.
The door opened with a soft crack and he appeared in the room, Tracer the assassin that looked like my di di in every aspect from appearance, he held a tray of food and placed it on the table while I felt saliva gulping down my throat, keeping the hunger inside me.
"I will cut the ropes binding your hands, but if you dare to make one movement in the wrong direction you'll be killed, say one wrong thing, you'll be killed, try to hurt me, and you'll be killed, understood?" His voice was stern and demanding, and I nodded, after all, it was the smartest thing I could do now, I wasn't able to think clearly with no food to digest.
He came closer, so close that I was able to kill him if I wanted before realizing I wouldn't take a chance, he was an assassin with a knife, without a knife there was an equal chance to both of us, but now he held a knife it was another story.
The robes on my hands were gone finally I slowly stretched my fingers while rubbing my wrist, I didn't look at him because he was looking at me and because I was not able to understand how he looked so much like my di di.
I took a piece of the bread, taking a small bite while his eyes lingered on all of my movement, and instead of looking at him, something caught my attention, something around his wrist, something he shouldn't be able to have, something that-
"How did you get that one," my voice was sharper than I wanted and I looked up at him while pointing his bracelet, the same bracelet I gave to my di di which was impossible because it was antique, there were only two of them on this world, and he was smiling while his eyes were cold as steel.
"You mean this one?" He cocked an eyebrow at me while pointing to the bracelet too, something in the way he looked told me I did not want to hear the response he would give me, yet I couldn't hold myself back from waiting, and I nodded slowly.
"Oh, this bracelet, I liked it, after all, the client wouldn't have much use out of it after he passed away." passed away, the words chanted inside my mind while he looked at me with a bit of a laugh around the corner of his mouth, my mind was blank and all I was able to understand was that this assassin took something that wasn't his.
He took something that belonged to my di di and me.
He took the last breath of my di di and his bracelet.
He took away the person I longed for years to.
He took my di di's life, and now I would take his.
I lunged forwards to him, my mind blanked with only a few words that kept spinning, passed away . . .
