040. DON'T HURT HER

Sam walks forward and Mary immediately embraces him in a hug.

"Sam? What happened?" Dean asks. Sam and Mary pull away, Mary still holding onto him as if to assure herself that he's there. Sam is knocked back a little as Ophelia crashes into him with a tight hug. Sam hugs her back, smoothing her hair down.

"He, uh, he brought me back." Sam says, looking over his shoulder and to Lucifer.

"Libs." Nathan mumbles, nudging the girl's shoulder, but she still seems to be frozen in shock as she attempts to work through a thousand different emotions.

"It's what I do." Lucifer smugly shrugs.

"It is not what you... how did you get here?" Cas asks, anger in his voice.

"VIP pass. I'm with the band." Lucifer says. "Come on. Shouldn't you be thanking me? I-I gave Sammy an extra life. Besides, what with my... little bro here-" He points at Gabriel. "--being a hot mess, I figured you need me. So, I'm here to join the team."

Lucifer walks closer to where Jack is, Cas sticking close by.

"Your name is Jack." Lucifer says.

"And yours is Lucifer." Jack says.

"No. No, no. You don't talk to him." Dean rushes over, his finger pointing at Lucifer. "And you, don't listen to him." He says, pointing his finger at Jack.

"Um, don't you think that's his choice?" Lucifer questions.

"No." Cas answers.

"Are you trying to keep me from my son?" Lucifer asks.

"Well, this is Kelly Kline's son. He's nothing like you." Cas says.

"Don't say he's nothing like me. I'm the only one who understands him. This power he has? I'm powerful, dangerous, ruthless. In the... best sense, though." Lucifer says.

"No. Kill him." Dean tells Gabriel. The archangel looks uncomfortable and doesn't move.

"He can't. He's not strong enough." Lucifer chuckles.

"Dean..." Gabriel starts.

"You've got the blade." Dean says.

"Stop it." Jack says.

"He didn't even wanna kill him, like, seven years ago. Why would he want to now?" Ophelia asks.

"He's the devil. Kill him." Dean orders.

"Stop it!" Jack shouts and then disappears.

"Well, great. Does that when he's scared. Way to go, dad!" Dean sarcastically exclaims.

"You scared him." Ophelia says.

"I did not scare him." Dean argues.

"You're telling Gabriel to kill somebody and you're angry, that's scaring him." Ophelia states. "That's scaring anybody. If Libby wasn't so zoned out right now, she'd be hiding behind me or Nathan."

At his daughter's name, Sam quickly turns to see her still in frozen in shock. Nathan snaps his fingers in her face, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Sam slowly makes his way over.

"Bessie?" Sam gently calls. It seems to do the trick as Libby's eyes travel up to his face, the girl taking a breath in.

"Oh, thank God. You started breathing again." Nathan sighs in relief, the girl having stopped doing so as she stayed in shock.

"Bu-but you-- I-I saw you... th-the vamp--" Libby struggles to form a full sentence.
