They're all gathered in Jack's room as he lays in bed. Sam is sitting by the bed and Libby is sitting at the foot of the bed. Cas, Ophelia, and Nathan are standing by the door while Dean stands by the dresser, his back to everybody else.

"Hey, hey, hey, it's all right." Sam says, helping Jack sit up. "Take it easy. Take it easy. It's all right. It's all right."

"Please don't be sad." Jack says. "Maybe... maybe this is how things are supposed to be." He says. Libby feels the all too familiar sting in her eyes, turning her head to look at her lap and not the boy on his death bed.

"Don't give me that "meant to be" crap. This isn't part of some damn plan." Dean says.

"Dean..." Cas says.

Jack starts coughing, grabbing the oxygen mask to help him breathe. Dean walks out of the room, Cas and Ophelia following.

"Can you tell him... it's okay?" Jack asks.

"Tell him yourself. He'll be back in a minute." Sam says.

"Sam... what happens next... for someone like me?" Jack asks.

"I don't know." Sam honestly answers.

"Then it's gonna be an adventure." Jack says. Libby continues to stare at her lap, messing with her rings, her back facing the guys.

Jack lays back down, closing his eyes.

"Dean." Cas says, him and Ophelia catching up to Dean.

"I can't. It's not right, Cas, you know? It's just-- it's not--" Ophelia hugs him. He puts an arm around her, his grip tight, as he remembers her dying and how tough that was to go through.

"What?" Cas asks. "It's not fair? I know that. But he needs you."

The three return to Jack's room, the boy lying down with his eyes shut, the other three silent.

"He's gone." Sam quietly states.

That seems to crack Libby, hearing it be official breaking the dam in her eyes. She lets a quiet sob out as she gets up and rushes out of the room.

"Bessie--" Sam tries as she practically runs past him.

"I got her." Ophelia quickly chases after her cousin. "Libby!" She calls, trying to catch up to the younger girl. "Libs." Ophelia grabs her cousin's arm as they reach the end of a hallway.

Libby turns and crashes into her older cousin, sobbing into her shoulder.

"Hey. Hey, hey." Ophelia whispers, hugging the brunette, a hand placed on the back of her head, smoothing her hair down. "It's okay. It's okay, sweetie. I'm sorry." Ophelia continues to whisper reassuring statements and gently shush her grieving cousin. Silent tears fall down the blonde's face, both at losing Jack and her cousin's cries, able to feel both of their grief.

"I'm right here. I got you." Ophelia assures, continuing to stroke Libby's hair. Ophelia's cheek rests against the side of Libby's head. "Let it out, baby."

Cas, Sam, Dean, and Nathan are in the hallway outside of Jack's room, the girls still off wherever Ophelia managed to catch up to Libby.

"Maybe we should... start thinking about next steps." Cas says.

"Wake and a bonfire, hunter style. It's what Jack would've wanted." Dean says.

Sam doesn't say anything, only storming off.

"Sam." Cas goes to follow, but Dean stops him. "Your brother's in pain."
