Dean pulls up outside of a restaurant, the five getting out of the Impala.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Sam asks.

"Oh, I don't have a choice. This is my destiny." Dean says.

"I have been waiting my entire life for something like this." Libby comments.

Nathan and Ophelia share an amused eye roll, looking at the pie fest.

"It's just so beautiful." Dean says.

"Are you crying?" Sam asks.

"What? No." Dean denies.

"Lie." Ophelia calls out.

"Must you?" Dean asks.

"Mm-hmm." She nods.

"You're crying." Dean weakly retorts. "I'm-- I'm gonna go get some, uh..."

"Pie." Sam says.

"I'm gonna get some damn pie." Dean says.

Libby lets out a small squeal, rushing off to find herself pie.

"Wait, Libby-- I... oh, God." Sam sighs.

"We all need to prepare for her sugar rush." Ophelia says.

"Maybe we should leave." Nathan suggests, grabbing his girl's hand.

"Nope. We suffer together." Sam prevents both of them from leaving.

Dean walks over to a bench that the others are on. Libby is eating her third piece of pie, Nathan and Ophelia sharing a piece.

Dean sits next to Sam with a box full of six slices of different pies.

"Hey." Dean greets, but notices Sam's look. "What? What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I'm fine." Sam says.

"Lie." Ophelia calls him out. Sam gives her a bitch face.

"no, come on, I know that face. That's, uh... that's Sad Sam face." Dean says.

"I'm not Sad Sam. I'm just... I'm thinking about Cas, you know? Jack. If they could be here." Sam says. Libby deflates a little at the mention of her ex-boyfriend's name.

"Yeah. Yeah, no, I think about 'em, too. You know what? That pain's not gonna go away. Right? But if we don't keep living, then all that sacrifice is gonna be for nothing. So, quit being a frigign' Eeyore, huh?" Dean says. "Come on." He motions to the box of pie. "Get into this."

"Yeah, you're right." Sam picks up a cream pie and smashes it in Dean's face. Everybody but Dean breaks out laughing. Dean uses his fork to scrape his face and eat the pie.

"I have wanted to do that for a very long time." Sam states. "Oh, you're right. I do feel better."

They found a possible case and the brothers investigated it, the five now at the Impala that's parked under a tree.

"Alright. Let's see." Dean looks through John's journal. "I think it was in '86. Dad was working a string of kidnappings along Route 77."

"77." Sam looks at the map.

"Akron, Canton, East Sparta. He didn't find much, but the witness did draw this." Dean shows them a drawing of a skeleton mask. "Kids were taken. The adults that weren't drained had their..."

"Tongues ripped out." Sam says.

"Yeah. You know what this is? Mimes." Dean states.

"Mimes?" Nathan questions and Dean nods.
