It's been three weeks since Michael took over Dean and left. They haven't been able to find anything on him. Sam is often on cases if he isn't working on finding Michael. He makes Libby stay back on any of the cases, not even letting her step foot out of the bunker -- which she does while he's gone.

He knows she probably isn't in immediate danger, but he can't help to keep her in the bunker where he knows she's safest. Since Sam is gone most of the time, Libby spends most of her time with Nathan and Ophelia, though she has gotten close to Maggie and spent some time with Jack.

With Sam either gone or just not sleeping, Libby can't really go to him when she has trouble sleeping or nightmares, so she goes to Nathan and Ophelia.

Libby is sitting at the map table while Maggie patches one of the hunters up and some others are doing different tasks.

"Sam." Mary says, seeing him walk in.

"Hey, mom." Sam greets, hugging her. "Hey, baby." He hugs Libby.

"How was Atlanta?" Mary asks.

"It was, uh... it was a bust. The woman who claims she saw an angel... was... let's just say I think she had one too many hits of the brown acid, you know?" Sam says.

"Sam, we're gonna find him. Ketch is working that thing in London. Castiel is in Detroit. I know it's been three weeks since Dean... something will break. It has to."

"Yeah. Yeah, you keep saying that." Sam says, yawning.

"Have you slept? At all? Sam, you need to rest. Go and lay down."

"Mom--"

"Chief." A hunter interrupts.

"Hey." Sam greets.

"Good to have you back." He hands Sam a bowl of soup.

"Thanks." Sam says.

"Don't thank me yet. Word is we got some vamps heading east on I-90. Gipsy types. Pickin' off trucks mostly." The guy says.

"Last body got drained and dropped just outside La Crosse six hours ago." The guy that Maggie is patching up says.

"Okay. Um... all right. Get me teams of two. I want watch points every 50 miles. If you see something, say something. Maggie, can you hack the traffic cams on the freeway?"

"Um... no." Maggie answers, looking very confused.

"Right. Right. Of course. Sorry." Sam says.

"I got it, Mags." Libby assures, the girl nodding in response.

"Would you call in Sharon and her crew? We're gonna need all hands on deck here." Sam says.

"Yes, sir." A guy says.

"Thank you." Sam says. He walks over to Libby who is at the laptop. "Libs, I can do it."

"You can go sleep." Libby argues.

"Libby--"

"What, only I need rest?" She asks.

"Yes." Sam nods.

"That's wrong. You're human, you need sleep. Simple as that." Libby says. "Staying awake and sleep deprived -- or me locked in the bunker -- isn't gonna find Uncle Dean any sooner."

"You're not locked in the bunker." Sam argues.

"You don't even let me go to the store." Libby says.

"Well, I-- the store is very dangerous." Sam says making Libby roll her eyes. "Look, so I'm a little overprotective given... recent events. Can you blame me?"
