It was one of Sans break days and you were both cuddled up in a blanket fort (like the children you were) watching whatever was still airing on the television. Hospital TV truly was a curse (I'm speaking from experience here to, three months in the hospital with hardly anything to watch sucks) with only a limited amount of movies and shows to tide you over. Needless to say you were enjoying your cuddles a whole lot more that whatever was on that TV. "hey gracious?" You hummed from your comfy place on Sans chest, staring curiously at the glow behind his shirt. "ya been looking at my soul for quite awhile now. curious?" You looked up to meet his sockets. "Is that what the glow is? Your soul?" Sans chuckled and nodded, making you blush. You were staring at an intimate part of him. "... ya wanna see it? soul synchronizing would be the next step in our relationship anyway." Sans chuckled at the increasingly confused look on your face. "soul synchronization is when two souls, uh, match their soul wavelengths up. in this way, two mate learn... everything. sees everything. that final bonding experience before becoming mates. whatdya say?"

A itty bitty [Y/N] ran through a yard with an older man- probably her dad- chasing her. She was around 3 or 4 and it melted my soul to see her like this. So small. So innocent. She seemed to have the man's [H/C] hair and his complexion. She was laughing and he was playing off the 'tickle monster'. A woman with [Y/N]'s [E/C] eyes came out and smiled as [Y/N] evaded her dad's reach once more. "[Y/N], Ethan time to eat." She called. "Nooooo! Th' tickle monsta is gonna get me!" [Y/N] complained. "Oh yeah? Well now the mommy monster is coming!" She lunged at [Y/N] and scooped her up. She started squealing and kicking and laughing. The three finally went inside long after it turned dark.

There was a Skeleton monster typing on a laptop. Not far from him a tank stood tall, a young skeleton inside. "Sans.." Said skeletons tail twitched, drawing the older skeletons attention. He got up and walked to the tank. "Can you hear me?" Sans, in response, opened his sockets. "Good, good. You've been out for a long time. Happy birthday." Sans pressed his skeletal hands against the glass. A panicked look in his sockets. He wanted out. "Calm down. I'll get you out." True to his word, the Skeleton released Sans and checked up on him. "I'm Dr. W.D. Gaster. You are Comic Sans." Sans tilted his head to the side.

[Y/N] and her parents were in a car. [Y/N]'s mom yelled out, "Ethan look out!" The car before us had screeched to a halt and Ethan tried to swerve out of the way only to be blindsided by another car. The car flipped and crashed down a hill on that side of the highway, only stopping when the vehicle smashed into a tree. Everyone was bleeding. Everyone was hurt. The ambulance came and bagged [Y/N]'s parents. [Y/N] herself was brought to the hospital. It was 6 months after the accident and another man took [Y/N] in. He mentally and physically abused Sans soul mate and said Skeleton wanted to rip him apart.
️🧟♂️🧟♂️🧟♂️Sans was working with Gaster and Dr. Alphys. She was very shy. Alphys left to get something when something happened. Sans grabbed at his chest with a hiss. Gaster approached him. "Sans? Are you alright?" A low growl came from said monster. Oh no.. Sans lunged at Gaster who managed to block his feral sons attack. Sans' soul turned blue and he was pinned to the floor. Sans was in chains. One on either wrist and one around the neck. "A soul imbalance.. How hadn't I caught this.. To much magic to the soul.. If I don't fix this.. You'll be feral forever.." Sans snarled in reply. Gaster slammed his fist on the counter. "I. Will. Fix. This." Determination was bad for monsters, but he was injecting Sans with it anyway. It was supposed to be his cure, but it didn't seem to work. He was constantly busy between curing Sans, raising Papyrus, and finishing the CORE. He was currently there now. Trying to fix some wires. One shocked him and he stumbled back, cursing in that language. That cost him. You wanted to catch him before he fell, but to no avail.

The feral were overrunning the city when Kane got bit by one. Sans couldn't help feeling happy with that outcome. That bastard can burn in hell for what he's done. [Y/N] went with a group of survivors to a safe place they've set up Underground. The city was overrun and they had nowhere else to go. Apparently the Underground was the best bet, only one entrance and one exit. It made sense. They made it, it wasn't a difficult trip there. The feral was sticking to the cities and such.

The first thing Sans did when he woke up was rummage through the fridge in the breakroom down there. He was starving. Only after that did he catch a glimpse of himself in a mirror. It wasn't hard to see in the dark. Two glowing, golden slits instead of round, white pinpricks. He was feral. "h-how is this.." It shouldn't have been possible, but it was. He was feral, but he had CONTROL. Sans had made a special sort of sealing cuffs to surpress his magic but had to take them off to smell like one of them when his group was being chased by the feral. His yellow slit eyelights darted around as he sniffed the air of the hotel. His group had been hunkered down there to find food before continuing back to the Underground, but well... it hadn't worked out. Papyrus and the others had made it out. He could begin using himself to make the cure.
